Olamide will be performing at the ‘Meet The Special One’ event at the Aztec-Arcum stadium in Port Harcourt alongside Phyno who released a joint album with him in April.
Olamide shared the sad news of his father’s death on his instagram page with a dark photo captioned “O God, who hast commanded us to honor our father and our mother; in Thy mercy have pity on the soul of my father, and forgive his trespasses; and make me to see him again in the joy of everlasting brightness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.😇 Rest well Dad.. Forever in my heart ❤️”
Olamide’s fifth solo studio album Eyan Mayweather was released three days before his father’s death was announced.
