According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Hirschfield, professionally known as Avi, alleges that he recorded the hook in January 2026 and sent it to producers who had worked with Drake. He claims the song released by Drake in May contained the same lyrics and melody. Hirschfield said he supplied timestamped audio files to support his claim but was refused songwriting credit or a share of the profits. A representative for Drake rejected the allegations. “These allegations are categorically, unequivocally, and completely denied. There is not one iota of truth to these accusations,” the representative told TMZ.
