Beyonce's father, Mathew Knowles has said that there are no plans for the iconic group to reunite, make albums, tour or do anything.
According to TMZ, Knowles who is still the group's official manager said the recent update of Destiny’s Child’s official account on social media which sparked speculation of a reunion, was nothing more than a regular renewal by the record label.
This all comes shortly after Beyonce offered an update on her music, saying in an interview;
“I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”
Back in May, Destiny's Child members Beyoncé Knowles, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland shared audio from a quick catch-up call they had. Though no mention of a reunion was made back then either, they did talk about what each member had been up to.
Destiny's Child disbanded in 2006, after releasing five studio albums.
