   A man in China had to be rescued after getting his arm stuck in a toilet brimming with poo while trying to retrieve his treasured iPhone. He had just done number two and was pulling up his trousers when the phone slipped out and into the toilet.   The Anglican Bishop of Owerri, Bishop Cyril C. Okorocha rejected Governor Rochas Okorocha donation of N200,000 to the church at the diocesan synod of the Anglican Communion which held at St John’s Anglican Church, New Owerri. Bishop Cyril Okorocha went on to lambast Governor Okorocha for inflicting sufferings on the people of Imo State through non-payment of their salaries and his “inhuman policies”. Governor Okorocha, who was represented at the Synod by one Obinna Aharanwa gave a donation of N200,000 Naira to support the church’s development but the Bishop rejected the Governor’s donation on the ground that he would not want the church to share in the blame for the non-payment of salaries and other financial troubles facing the State.

  There had been concerns about the highlife singer, Sean Tizzle bleaching his skin but the complaints died down not until two days ago. The official Instagram page for Felabration shared a picture of the singer performing on stage and all hell let loose. Concerned fans who noticed the skin discoloration around his knuckles came on the picture and started posting angry comments. Read them below;

  The President of Ghana, John Mahama today reached an agreement with the government of Nigeria represented by NNPC GMD Ibe Kachiukwu, to pay off the N33.8 billion owed Nigeria from the gas supply provided by a Nigerian gas company, N-Gas, the main supplier of gas to Ghana’s Volta River Authority through the West African Gas Pipeline. The N-Gas buys gas from NNPC and transports it to its customers in Benin, Togo and Ghana. The N-Gas had recently threatened to cut gas supply by 70% to Ghana’s main power generation company due to unpaid debts of $181m (33.8bn).

  A pastor in South Africa has abandoned the pulpit for a coffin, literally. According to church member and former drug dealer, 28 year old Aphiwe Nqevu 'brought the coffin to illustrate to people who fail to embrace Jesus as the son of God that they will go to hell and face eternal death. They said they use coffin to 'urge people to embrace God because once death occurs, it is too late to decide'. People in the area protested, saying it was scaring children and it was disrespectful. 

   The national publicity secretary of the PDP Oliseh Metuh said the party has taken a policy of “no statement” on Boko Haram insurgency especially in the Northern region of Nigeria.  Metuh said: “ We all know that as at March, April, May before we handed over power, Nigeria was a bit secured and the problem of insurgency had gone down but because of what happened to is two years ago, three years ago incessant criticisms and statements that sort to divide our people.”

John Kennedy Santos Gurjao  has passed out and died on board of an Aer Lingus plane after he became agitated ,  bit a man trying to help him and was restrained by flight attendants and passengers.  While a doctor and nurse on board were trying to resuscitate the young man, the captain diverted to Cork Airport, declaring a medical emergency.  Unfortunately Mr Gurjao was pronounced dead on the plane.

PM News reports that protesters took to the street of Port Harcourt, Rivers State waving Biafra flags. Their activity made movement of vehicles impossible in the area. The protesters moved to the government house Vanguard reports that protesters also went to the government house in Delta state to condemn the arrest and continued detention of Kanu.

  A 28 year old Nigerian man identified as Christian Chidiebere Chukwu has been arrested in India for allegedly raping another Nigerian’s wife in Bengaluru, India. According to police report, Christian whose visa had expired since 2013, was squatting with his friend in Bengaluru when he raped the victim who is also a Nigerian. He raped her when his friend traveled for a business outside the town. The victim immediately reported the incident to the Bengaluru police station and he was arrested immediately. He will soon be charged to court.

  26 year old Jeffrey Ortega wants his size 16 foot amputated after it swelled due to a genetic condition which leaves him in constant pain and unable to walk. Jeffery, who relies on a wheelchair to move around, was born with Proteus Syndrome, a rare condition that causes bones, skin and tissue overgrowth. The condition has also affected his hands, hips and legs.

  According to TMZ, Khloe Kardashian has put her relationship with basketball player boyfriend James Harden on hold following ex Lamar Odom's medical crisis. The reality star, who is said to still have feelings for her estranged husband, has asked James to give her some time as she plans to be by Lamar's side during his rehab, which will take many months. The estranged couple both signed their final divorce paper, but it hasn't been finalized so they are still legally married.  

  A South African parole board has approved the placement under house arrest and correctional supervision for four years of Oscar Pistorius. Pistorius was sentenced to five years in jail by a South African judge for killing his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s day in 2013. He was sentenced for culpable homicide but he said he mistook her for an intruder when he shot her through a bathroom door in a home they shared together.
