While the Portuguese has a contract till 2018 with Real Madrid, it is
widely believed that the legendary winger is seeking a return to
Manchester United.
Ronaldo has not hid his love for Manchester United who he left for Real Madrid in 2009.
According to Jose Semado, a former colleague of Ronaldo at Sporting
Lisbon, Ronaldo would return to Manchester United one day. The Sheffield
Wednesday midfielder claims Ronaldo wishes Real Madrid played in the
premier league.
Semedo and Ronaldo are very close friends and were pictured in the summer enjoying time on a private yacht.
He told Talk Sport: “He is very happy at Real Madrid [but] he
loves English football, he loves English people, and deep down I think
he will come back to England because it doesn’t look like he wants to
finish his career without getting back to England.“He said he would wish Real Madrid is in England, but that is not possible. I believe he will end his career in English football again.”
Ronaldo became Real Madrid’s all-time record goalscorer earlier this month but refused to rule out a move away from the Bernabeu in the future.
Ronaldo was recently pictured in Morocco on holiday with his kick-boxing friend Badr Hari following Madrid’s 3 – 0 win over Celta Vigo. Hari a Moroccan is a very close friend of Ronaldo and the two usually spend their free time together.
