  A 90-year-old widow in India was allegedly gang-raped by two men who stormed into her house at night. The old woman said they left her "almost half-dead" after the attack in India on October 24. When she regained her senses the next morning she told her neighbor. She went to hospital and had medical tests after the attack in the Kanchanpur area in the country's North Tripura district. It follows protests in India earlier this month over the gang-rape and murder of a young woman. The family of the 90-year-old woman took her to a police station and lodged a report against Anjan Nama, 35, and another unidentified man, the Times of India reports. Speaking to reporters, the woman said: "Anjan and another man stormed into my house at midnight. "They raped me and left me almost half dead. "When I regained my senses the next morning, I informed my neighbor. "But Anjan is a very powerful person and we didn’t dare to take a stand against him." Kanchanp...

    US president, Donald Trump, has hailed the courageous soldiers who rescued an American hostage in Nigeri. Philip Walton, 27, was seized by armed bandits on Monday, October 26. Walton was moved to a location in northern Nigeria where he was held. The Pentagon has confirmed that the operation was executed on Saturday. Trump tweeted  “Last night, our country’s brave warriors rescued an American hostage in Nigeria. “Our Nation salutes the courageous soldiers behind the daring nighttime rescue operation and celebrates the safe return of yet another American citizen!”

  The Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, has warned that the second wave of the COVID19 pandemic is imminent if Nigerians continue to disregard all  COVID19 protocols. Ehanire gave the warning while speaking at the virtual Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the Guild of Medical Directors in Lagos State with the theme ‘Post-COVID-19 Era: Economics and Healthcare Delivery in Nigeria.’ on Saturday, October 31.   Actress Ruth Eze has disclosed that she is currently under pressure to get married but can't afford to marry a poor man.  The actress who revealed this in an interview with Inside Nollywood, said she doesn't mind being a second wife as long as the man is rich and agrees to a white wedding. Ruth Eze said;    “My mother is on my neck to get married but I can’t afford to marry a poor man, truth be told. So, I have been calming my mum down.
