2023 BET Awards: Burna Boy becomes first African to win the Best International Act four times

Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy has won the Best International Act award at the 2023 BET Awards.

 

Burna was nominated in the BET category alongside Aya Nakamura, Ayra Starr, Central Cee, Ella Mai, K.O, L7nnon, Stormzy, Tiakola and Uncle Waffles.

 Though he was not present at the show, Burna already had three BET Awards in the same category in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Iheanacho equals Bursaspor record as he continues impressive start in Turkey

  Kelechi Iheanacho is one match away from setting a new Bursaspor scoring record after extending his impressive start to life in Turkey with another two goals. The Super Eagles striker scored twice as Bursaspor secured a 2-1 away victory over Batman Petrolspor on Saturday, September 19, helping his side move clear at the top of the Turkish second division. New CIA document reveals Osama bin Laden was plotting terror attack on Britain before 9/11

  Newly declassified CIA documents show that US intelligence officials believed Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda were considering attacks on the United Kingdom several years before the September 11, 2001, attacks. The documents were released by the CIA to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and include intelligence assessments dating from the late 1990s. Among them is an August 28, 1998, briefing titled “Bin Ladin Terrorist Network Still a Threat”, which indicated that bin Laden was considering further attacks against both the United States and the UK.
