Footage has emerged appearing to show ex-first lady Melania Trump smiling with husband Donald Trump before her expression quickly drops to apparent disgust.
The couple were spotted during the Atlanta Braves World Series game against the Houston Astros on Saturday.
It was the first time Melania had been seen in public since July, when she was seen leaving the Trump Tower in New York.
And before the weekend’s appearance she hadn’t been seen with her husband since April, when she dined with him at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Footage of the weekend outing captured a bizarre moment between the pair that has divided opinion on social media.
In the video they can both be seen smiling and gesturing to spectators before Melania turns away from the smiling US President as her face drops to a look of disgust.
She appears to roll her eyes as her smile quickly vanishes.
Social media users were quick to make up their own minds about the moment, with some defending the pair while others called it a ‘withering scowl.’
