Eight people have lost their lives to COVID-19, while 365 others have been infected within the last 24 hours in Nigeria.
The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC), confirmed this in its daily update about the pandemic in the country.
This brings Nigerian’s COVID-19 caseload to 199,151.
Statistics from the NCDC indicates that Lagos has 209 of the new cases, followed by Ondo with 88, FCT-31, Rivers-16, Ebonyi-11, Kaduna-6, Ekiti-3, while Plateau recorded 1 case.
186,418 treated cases have been discharged, while the death toll is now 2,598.
