France star footballer, Kylian Mbappe has reportedly rejected the latest contract offered to him by French club Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe has a year remaining on his deal at Parc des Princes, and could leave at the end of next season as a free agent.
PSG have insisted that their most prized asset will not be allowed to
leave in 2021, and have offered him a new deal wary he could leave on a
free next summer.
However, according to a report by Marca, the 22-year-old Mbappe and PSG
officials are far apart in their contractual negotiations.
Mbappe reportedly prefers to sign a new contract with the guarantee of
being able to make the switch elsewhere if another club makes a suitable
offer.
However, PSG don't want such a clause in the new contracts as it would
go against rules outlined by the French Professional Football League.
