  US Housing Secretary and famous Neurosurgeon, Ben Carson has tested positive for covid-19, days after Trump's Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows tested positive for the virus. The news announced on Monday, November 9, makes Carson the latest member of President Trump’s administration to test positive for the deadly virus. Carson was “in good spirits & feels fortunate” after testing positive for COVID-19, an aide told ABC News Monday. Carson, 69, is the highest-ranking Black official in the Trump cabinet. He was one of hundreds of Trump supporters who gathered in a crowded Election Night party at the White House where few participants wore masks and there was no social distancing. He has served as housing secretary since Trump took office in 2017.

  Italian giants, Juventus are considering cutting ties with forward Cristiano Ronaldo next summer. This is owing to fears that his huge pay is no longer affordable by the club. Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018 in a deal worth €100 million and signed a contract that sees him earn a whopping €31m per season at the Italian side. A local source reports that Juventus don’t intend to extend Ronaldo’s contract, which expires in 2022, and they will instead make him available for transfer this summer in an attempt to claw back some of the money they have spent on him. Club officials in Juventus also fear Ronaldo has not really justified his high wage with the club even though he scored 37 goals in all competitions last season.   President Donald Trump has reportedly put up one of his personal helicopters for sale.  According to TMZ, Trump currently owns three Sikorsky S76-B helicopters plus other private aircraft not associated with the White House. He has decided to sell one of those choppers through an aerial retailer via Aero Asset.      The six-seater aircraft which has a cream leather interior, gold seat buckles, and a fridge is currently in storage at a hangar in New Jersey is 31 years old.   The Ogun state police command has confirmed the arrest of two men identified as  Michael Hammed Azeez, 20 and Adeola Ogunseye, 22 for allegedly kidnapping and gang raping a 14-year-old girl. The suspects were arrested on November 4, 2020 following a complaint lodged at Owode Egba divisional headquarters by the mother of the victim. The victim's mother said her daughter was abducted by the two suspects on November 3 at about 8:30 pm and taken to an unknown place where the duo took turns to forcefully have carnal knowledge of her.  It was further learnt that the rape victim was later found seriously battered along school road, Owode Egba in Obafemi Owode Local government area of Ogun State. Following the complaint, the DPO of Owode Egba division, CSP Mathew Ediae mobilized his detectives to the area where the two suspects identified by the victim were apprehended.   A popular YouTuber with a passion for motorbikes has died in an accident that occurred while she was riding her new bike. Amanda Andrade Maturana, known online as "Amanda da 160", died in Londrina, Brazil on the night of Friday, November 6. Amanda, 22, amassed 70,000 Youtube subscribers and 50,000 Instagram followers by sharing her love for two-wheel power. Initial information suggests that Amanda crashed while fleeing from police as she earlier posted a video at a motorbike racing event on Instagram. Hours later, police were called to the illegal gathering. According to reports, everyone at the meeting dispersed when the police arrived and Amanda fled speeding with her 600 litre Yamaha XJ6 which she bought just a week prior. She soon lost control of the bike.   The Confederation of African Football has barred journalists and spectators from the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone. Ademola Olajire, Nigeria Football Federation’s spokesperson made the announcement in a press statement on Monday November 9. The statement was titled, ‘AFCON Qualifier: CAF bars media, journalists from Nigeria, Sierra Leone match’.   Niger state Governor, Abubakar Bello has announced that he has tested positive for Coronavirus.  The Governor who shared the news on Twitter, also revealed that he is asymptomatic and has gone into isolation.    Bello tweeted;    I have tested positive to #COVID19.   US President Donald Trump has sacked Defense Secretary Mark Esper following months of tensions between the two men. The post-election firing of Esper, was announced in a tweet on Monday evening November 9, and comes as Trump continues to refuse to concede the 2020 election to President-elect Joe Biden over yet to be proven allegations of mass voter fraud. In the tweet announcing Esper's sack, Trump stated that Christopher Miller, a senior-ranking counter-terrorism official, would take over the top Pentagon job on an acting basis.                    “Chris will do a GREAT job!” Trump tweeted. “Mark Esper has been terminated. I would like to thank him for his service."
