  Italian football club, Inter Milan have announced that three of their players have tested positive for Coronavirus.  The players are midfielders Roberto Gagliardini and Radja Nainggolan with goalkeeper Ionut Radu, joining the known cases of Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni who both tested positive earlier.  A club statement read: FC Internazionale Milano announce that Roberto Gagliardini and Radja Nainggolan tested positive for COVID-19 following checks carried out at Appiano Gentile in recent days. "Ionut Radu also tested positive this morning, after tests carried out yesterday. Further checks are scheduled for tomorrow." AC Milan is also affected by the coronavirus after striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and defender Leo Duarte tested positive some weeks ago.   

Rev. Fr. Ejike Fabian Odunze, the parish priest of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nkomoro in Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, has been allegedly attacked by some youths of the area.   It was gathered that the incident happened after Father Odunze flogged and detained the son of the Councilor of Nkomoro Ward, Mrs Ngozika Onele, for allegedly destroying his cassava farm.    Father Odunze at the parish's Chritsmas Carol in 2019.   A source from the community who spoke to Vanguard on Thursday, October 8, said that Fr. Ejike had vowed not to release the child without seeing the parents, having warned him several times, against destroying his farm produce. Fr. Tory Lanez has finally been charged in connection with the shooting involving fellow rapper, Megan Thee Stallion.  The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office announced in a statement on Thursday, October 8, that the Canadian rapper has been charged with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm – personal use of a firearm – and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He also faces a gun allegation and that he personally inflicted great bodily injury during the alleged incident.  According to LA County District Attorney’s office, Tory's arraignment is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, and if convicted in the case, the rapper will face a maximum sentence of 22 years and eight months in prison.   This comes two weeks after he denied shooting Megan in his newly released album, "Daystar."   Lanez opened his album with the diss song "Money Over Fallouts," where he addressed the shooting allegations and claimed tha...

  American rap star, Cardi B has reacted to the widespread #EndSARS protest aimed at stopping police brutality in Nigeria.  This came after she was alerted about the protest by a Nigerian Twitter user. @AsiwajuLerry had tweeted;    Madam @iamcardib, trump is not your only problem. Your beloved Nigeria is currently in a state of pandemonium. We are not safe!! If you’ve ever loved this country, please help use your platform to create more awareness for us.   The venue for the international friendly match between Nigeria and Algeria in Austria, has been changed. The match, initially scheduled to take place at the Jacques Lemmans Arena, has now been moved to the Worthersee Stadium in Klagenfurt on the request of the Algeria Football Federation The Worthersee stadium has a 30,000 capacity, compared to the initial venue in the southern Austrian state of Carinthia which can only host 2,420 spectators. “It is at the request of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) that this change takes place in order to allow the two teams to evolve in a larger enclosure and on an excellent lawn” , a local official was quoted by DZ Football. The date and time for the clash, scheduled for Friday at 7.30 p.m remain unchanged. The Super Eagles will face Tunisia in another friendly at the Jacques Lemans Arena next week Tuesday.

  Veteran singer, Blackface has lost his father. The singer made the announcement via a tweet he shared.  Blackface revealed that his father, Mr Ahmedu Ocholi passed on, on October 8. He tweeted;    Today 8th October 2020 the great Mr Ahmedu Ocholi passed away You played your part well Papa You are the first Elder Statesman that our people of Agatu call on to settle any form of dispute!!!   Kanye West has been accused of lying about his billionaire status. The rapper took to Twitter on Thursday, October 8, to share an OK! magazine article that claims he now has a net worth of $5 billion. Kanye commented on it, writing: "From $53 million in debt to a net worth of $5 billion in 4 years. Thank you, Jesus. I know I fall short, but I repent. I am fully in service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are building schools of the future. Thank God for providing the increase."     However, there are claims this isn't so. The rapper, who is contesting for the US presidency, disclosed his financial records to the Federal Election Commission, something every presidential candidate is supposed to do. Serial killer, Gracious David-West has been sentenced to death by hanging by a Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt.  David-West who was sentenced after being found guilty for the multiple murder of several females in hotels in different parts of the state, had earlier been charged with ten counts of murder and attempted murder.  Justice Enebeli passed the judgment based on the voluntary statement and confession of the David-West as well as the CCTV footage of the convicted which was tendered and displayed during trial.      He was found to be guilty of the murder of Maureen Ewuru, Jennifer Nwokocha, Blessing Effiong Linda Warifa Samuel, Dorcas Francis, Kelechi Bridget Onuoha Rose Samuel Anthonia Ibe and the attempted murder of Benita Etim.
