  A mother murdered her three-year-old son and put his tiny body in a plastic bag along with the child's toys, it is claimed. She then attempted to kill herself after taking his life, reports suggest. Caroline Carrilho Correia, 29, told emergency responders she had killed her son at highway on the border between Curitiba and Campo Largo, Brazil, on Tuesday. She was found on the banks of a nearby river where she had injured herself in an apparent suicide attempt. The suspect then confessed that she had killed son, Isaac Carrilho Barbosa, and abandoned the body in the nearby woods, it is reported. The tiny body in the bag filled with his toys was found a short while later. No motive was given for the killing but there were suggestions that the mother felt neglected because her husband lavished so much attention on the child, reports in Brazil claim.   Men of the Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State Command have arrested a 47-year-old security man, Adamu Ibrahim for allegedly conspiring with two other men to rob his employer. The suspect, according to a statement by the command spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi is a security man attached to Inspiration filling station situated at Matogun area of Agbado in Ifo local government area of the state.  He was arrested following a report by the duo of Ajibola Yusuf and Bakare Ifakayode who reported at Agbado divisional headquarters that they received a phone call from the suspect that the manager of the fueling station will be leaving the station at about 8:00 pm with a huge amount of money running to 3 million naira.   Japanese fashion designer Kenzo Takada, popularly known as Kenzo, is dead. Kenzo, 81, died of complications linked to COVID-19 on Sunday. He passed away in France at the American Hospital of Paris in Neuilly-sur-Seine. The designer retired after selling his brand to LVMH, the world’s biggest luxury group. He reigned alongside contemporaries like Jean Paul Gaultier and Yves Saint Laurent. “Paris is mourning one of its sons today,” Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo said on Twitter. LVMH’s Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault said Kenzo “infused into fashion a tone of poetic lightness and sweet freedom which inspired many designers after him”.

    A bride was beaten to death by her new husband who flew into a rage at their wedding party, says police. Groom Stepan Dolgikh, 33, has been arrested on suspicion of beating wife Oksana Poludentseva, 36, to death on the day they married. Dolgikh had a previous conviction for murder but the bride - who got to know him while he was in prison - believed she could tame him, detectives believe. Witnesses said the beating began when the groom became “jealous” of another guest at their alcohol-fuelled wedding party in a private house in Prokudskoye village, Novosibirsk region. He accused his new wife of “behaving incorrectly”, it was alleged.     A Russian journalist has died after setting herself on fire the day after her flat was searched by police. Irina Slavina, 47, posted: 'I ask you to blame the Russian Federation for my death.' A deeply distressing video shows her setting herself on fire and a man desperately trying to put the flames out. Slavina was editor-in-chief of Koza Press, in Nizhny Novgorod, a news agency that had run stories which had annoyed the authorities. The married mother-of-one had been repeatedly fined after previous disputes with officials. She set herself on fire outside the headquarters of the Interior Ministry in Nizhny Novgorod near a statue for Russian policemen.   A vile man who slept with the dead body of woman who died from coronavirus has been jailed for three years. The man broke into a mortuary to carry out the horrific act. Police in Guyana, South America, arrested the man who then had to spend time in quarantine as he had come into contact with the virus. Leroy Chacon was sentenced to three years imprisonment. The 50-year-old man was charged with and found guilty of committing a s3xual offence on the body of a woman at the mortuary. Chacon, an unemployed resident of Trainline Port Kaituma, North West District appeared before Magistrate Dylon Bess, via zoom to answer to the charge. He pleaded guilty to the charge which stated that on September 26th, at Port Kaituma Hospital Mortuary, he was performing an indecent act on the dead body of a female who died from coronavirus.

  Actor Thomas Jefferson Byrd has been killed. The star, 70, died after being shot to death on Saturday, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed to Variety. The outlet reports that on Saturday, Atlanta police officers were dispatched to 2259 Belvedere Ave., responding to a call about an injured person at 1:45 am. Upon arrival, officers found Thomas lying unresponsive and pronounced him dead from multiple gunshot wounds to the back. Homicide detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
