A pedophile man, Mark Aspin, 44, and his girlfriend, 46-year-old Debbie Pickersgill have been charged with 27 offences between them including child cruelty and making indecent images of children after he allegedly raped a teenage girl so violently she passed out while his girlfriend watched as he carried on with the sick act.

A jury at Grimsby Crown Court heard on Monday, November 23, that Mark Aspin, physically beat a total of three victims before using them for sex in front of his girlfriend.

During one alleged attack, Aspin,  is accused of raping a teenager so aggressively that she lost consciousness.

Jurors heard that his partner, Debbie Pickersgill, watched as he did the act and she claimed she feared being attacked herself that's why she didn't report to authorities.

When the girl woke up Aspin is alleged to have said “oh she’s alright” before carrying on, Hull Daily Mail reported.

The 27 offences they have been charged with include child cruelty, engaging in sexual activity with a child and making indecent images of children.

The court was told that when the allegations were first reported to police Ms Pickersgill was initially treated as a victim, rather than a suspect.

Ms Pickersgill told police when she was interviewed in April this year how she would regularly hear Mr Aspin having sex with teenage girls and would be forced to engage in threesomes with them.

According to her she was scared Mr Aspin would beat her.

Ms Pickersgill's also alleged that  Mr Aspin tracked her phone and she "could not tell anyone what was happening," even after Mr Aspin admitted having sexual intercourse with a young teenage girl, who he would also beat.

She said: "Sometimes I could hear him beating her up and having sex with her. I was too scared to do anything. I could hear him hitting her and her screaming."

"He would make me kiss and touch her [one of the victims]. She [the girl] didn't say anything, she just complied with whatever was going on.

"Sometimes the covers would go over her and he [Mr Aspin] would ask, 'Are you doing it?' and I would say yes but I wasn't. I felt sick.

"He had sex with her when I was there. It would happen once a month but I would try and persuade him not to. I used to pretend I was asleep but he would just wake me up."

"He would beat me up even when I made a cup of tea wrong. I could never do anything right. I hated him for what he was doing to me and I wanted to escape. I was scared I was going to be killed."

The court heard how Ms Pickersgill had once attended a women's centre and the police were called following an incident where Mr Aspin had turned violent. He was arrested but Ms Pickersgill withdrew her statement.

Less than 48 hours after her initial interview with the police in April this year, she was interviewed again as a suspect and they are now in court

The trial of the couple continues.
