The battle for the leadership of directors guild of Nigeria (DGN) has ended as a winner has emerged!
Actor and movie producer, Fred Amata, as emerged the president of the
Director’s Guild of Nigeria. The election took place in Asaba, Delta
state this afternoon.The position had been occupied by Andy Amenechi, before Fred joined the race to battle popular director c*m producer, Lancelot Imasuen and Dickson Iroegbu winning in the end.
Amata aspired for the position alongside Fidelix Duker in 2007. Duker eventually won the contest. In 2011, Amata contested again with Andy Amanechi, who also defeated him and succeeded Bond Emeruwa. This is the third time he will be contesting for this post. Congratulations to him.
