Armed Robbers & Police Engages In Gun Bottle At Ikirun, Osun State After Robbing First Bank & Skye Bank

There was heavy gun battle today between men of the under world and security operatives in ikirun, ifelodun local government, Osun state.

It started some minutes past ten, and lasted for about an hour, the heavily armed men attacked First bank and Skye bank simultaneous, they  blast an armored tank parked few minutes away to the bank before they headed for the banks.

It is believes few million of naira would have been carted away, as one of the bank had told there customer there was no money available before the robbers came, they used dynamite to blow the door of the bank‎, two bank staffs from Skye bank were killed in the operation.

Police took the corpses to there station along Federal government college road before the bodies were taking to the morgue. Three robbers were killed and two were caught alive.

These banks as always been there targets in resent years, like three times in the last four years.
