Photos: Suspected masterminds of Nyanya and Kuje bomb blast arrives in court today

 
Suspected masterminds of the October 2015 Nyanya and Kuje bomb blast which left 20 people dead and several others seriously injured were arraigned before a Federal High Court today, Thursday, January 21 in Abuja.
The five masterminds identified as Abdulazeez Muhazab, Ishiaku Salihu, Mohammed Jimoh, Abdulazeez Nasiru and Abdullahi Nasiru were arraigned on a five countcharge of conspirarcy to carry out a bomb attack utilizing Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), resulting in the death of scores of people. New CIA document reveals Osama bin Laden was plotting terror attack on Britain before 9/11

  Newly declassified CIA documents show that US intelligence officials believed Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda were considering attacks on the United Kingdom several years before the September 11, 2001, attacks. The documents were released by the CIA to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and include intelligence assessments dating from the late 1990s. Among them is an August 28, 1998, briefing titled “Bin Ladin Terrorist Network Still a Threat”, which indicated that bin Laden was considering further attacks against both the United States and the UK.
