Primary: PDP Governors Move To Save Wada

  

A report by Leadership indicates that governors under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party are mounting pressure on Jubril Isa, one of the party’s aspirants in the Kogi state primary, to step down for the incumbent governor, Idris Wada.

Ahead of the primaries, there are rumours that the governor do not have adequate support from the party delegates to defeat  Isa, who is popularly called Ochocho in the state.
The primary election which was earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday, September 10, was postponed to Monday, September 14, 2015, in what the National Working Committee of the party says is due to some logistic issues pertaining to the exercise.
