All Nigerians Will Experience This Come September 28
The National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), has
said that a lunar eclipse will occur in Nigeria on Monday, September
28.
The agency in a statement signed by its deputy director, media and
corporate communications, Felix Ale on Wednesday, September 9, in Abuja,
said the lunar eclipse would begin on Monday, September 28 from 1.11
am, and will be at its maximum by 3.47 am, with its final contact at
6.22 am.
The lunar eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when the earth
comes in-between the sun and the moon, and the earth casts its shadow
on the moon, so that the moon appears reddish.
In some regions around the world where the lunar eclipse will be observed, it is called the blood moon.
