  New reports about Dolly Parton’s family and her manager’s struggles since her death has emerged.   After late Country music star, Dolly Parton’s longtime manager, Danny Nozell, filed a lawsuit against her nephew, alleging he tried to extort money and made deadly threats, a new report by Page Six says insiders fear that Nozell may have ulterior motives for the court action. “He wants the family out of the picture, and wants to turn her house into Graceland,” a source alleged.     The insider said that Nozell and Parton made a good business team, but she was the moral compass.   “Danny doesn’t have the heart that Dolly did,” they added.   The legal battle comes after Parton’s nephew and longtime head of security, Bryan Seaver, was relieved of his post at the late country icon's estate.   Dr. Gabrielle Henry, a former Miss Universe contestant representing Jamaica, has filed a lawsuit against Miss Universe and others, accusing the organization of negligence.   Henry's recovery has been harrowing since the Miss Universe contestant fell off the stage nearly one year ago.     Miss Jamaica 2025 opened up in a People magazine essay on Sept. 23, 2026, about her severe injuries, after the pageant queen and medical doctor fell in an "unguarded" hole on the preliminary rounds stage in November 2025.    She said the fall "permanently altered the course of my life," and that "all at once, a beautiful moment became a shattered dream."     The essay comes as Henry files a lawsuit against Miss Universe and others, accusing the organization of negligence, including in supervising the pageant's producer, Thai company Miss Grand International, premises liability and infliction of emotional distress.     Miss Universe Organization of...

  An elementary school teacher and a fifth-grade student died during a field trip to a local state park on Tuesday, September 22, after both ended up in the reservoir, according to authorities and school officials.   Hannah Jorgensen, a 24-year-old fifth-grade teacher at Borlaug Elementary, was found dead Tuesday afternoon inside the Coralville Reservoir at Lake Macbride State Park.    About 25 hours later, dive teams recovered the body of 10-year-old student Ahmed Osman in the same body of water.   The pair had been visiting the park during a “School of the Wild” field trip Tuesday at the Macbride Nature Recreation Area, the Iowa City Community School District told Fox “Hannah and Ahmed were so much more than members of our school community,” the district wrote in a statement on Facebook.   “Their absence will be felt in the classrooms and hallways of Borlaug, in the lives of those who loved them, and throughout our entire school district community.” ...

  Carrot Top’s legal team has accused Brian Evans of attempting to extort $500,000 from the comedian by threatening to place a sexually explicit recording involving him on a public court docket. According to a September 3 court filing obtained by TMZ, lawyers for the 61-year-old comedian, whose real name is Scott Thompson, alleged that Evans threatened to submit a USB drive containing the recording unless a $500,000 settlement was reached. Evans has disputed the characterization of his communications as a threat.
