  The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has arrested a 49-year-old Nigerian man, Etinosa Osahon, for stolen mail, bank fraud, and aggravated identity theft. Osahon was arrested in Los Angeles on May 21, 2026.   The suspect is currently being held in ICE custody while awaiting removal from the United States. ICE announced the arrest in a post via X on Saturday, May 23.    "ICE Los Angeles arrested Etinosa Osahon, 49, of Nigeria, May 21. Osahon’s criminal record includes stealing and being in possesses of stolen mail, bank fraud, and aggravated identity theft. He is in ICE custody pending removal,” the post reads.

  The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo) have no plans to change their preparations for the World Cup despite a warning from the United States that the national team must isolate for 21 days before arriving in the country, The Guardian reports.   Iran's chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has warned that Donald Trump would face a “crushing” response if the United States resumes military attacks against Iran following the fragile ceasefire that halted the recent regional conflict.   In a social media post on Saturday, May 23, Ghalibaf said Iran had rebuilt and strengthened its armed forces during the six-week ceasefire period. “Our armed forces have rebuilt themselves during the ceasefire period in such a way that if Trump commits another act of folly and restarts the war, it will certainly be more crushing and bitter for the United States than on the first day of the war,” he said. The warning came after Ghalibaf met with Asim Munir in Tehran as diplomatic efforts continue to prevent renewed fighting in the Middle East.   Ivanka Trump was allegedly targeted by an Islamic extremist linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to a new report detailing an alleged plot against the family of US President, Donald Trump.  The New York Post reported that the suspect, identified as Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, allegedly possessed blueprints of Ivanka Trump’s Florida residence and discussed plans to target her following the killing of Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani. Soleimani was killed in a US drone strike ordered by Donald Trump during his first term in office.'   Chelsea are set to launch a legal complaint over Manchester City’s pursuit of former head coach Enzo Maresca, unless the Manchester club cough up some compensation.   Allegations were made against Maresca that he had spoken with City while still at Stamford Bridge, which left Chelsea officials furious.   Now, with Maresca primed to replace the outgoing Pep Guardiola, action may be taken if the two clubs cannot agree on compensation.   The head of the World Health Organization has expressed concern over the "scale and speed" of an outbreak of a rare type of Ebola known as Bundibugyo in eastern Congo, where authorities reported 134 suspected deaths and more than 500 suspected cases. The virus spread undetected for weeks after the first known death as authorities tested for a more common type of Ebola and came up negative, health experts and aid workers said. The Bundibugyo virus has no approved medicines or vaccines.
