American Paralympic athlete, Roderick Townsend, who took his dog's medication after sharing a syringe with his dying pet is cleared of doping and free to compete at the 2024 Paris Games.      The three-time Paralympic gold medalist tested positive for capromorelin, a growth hormone stimulator that is prohibited at all times under the USADA Protocol for Olympic and Paralympic Movement Testing on November 1, 2023.''   But, following an investigation, it transpires that all was not as it seemed and Townsend provided an abnormal sample through no fault of his own.      A  USADA investigation into Townsend  found that the athlete had been giving his dog, who has since passed, specific medicine which contained capromorelin.   Townsend, who sustained permanent nerve damage to his right arm and shoulder at birth, provided evidence of a prescription liquid pet medication containing the substance as he was trying to stabilise his dog's...

American rapper, Tekashi 6ix9ine has been arrested in the Dominican Republic. According to The Associated Press, Tekashi, 27, was arrested on Wednesday, January 18, by authorities in Santo Domingo on charges of domestic violence.  The recording artist whose real name is Daniel Hernández) is reportedly being held in jail in the Dominican Republic capital and scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. Per the AP, a judge will decide at the hearing if Tekashi 6ix9ine must remain in jail or be freed on bond as authorities carry out an investigation.   The rapper has had run-ins with the law multiple times before.  He was previously arrested at a seaside hotel in the Dominican Republic in October after being accused of assaulting a local music producer. Hernández and his partner, a Dominican rapper known as Yailín la Más Viral, had been recording at the producer's studio. American rapper, Snoop Dogg has revealed he was close to becoming an OnlyFans star but turned down a $100M offer from the X-rated platform because of his wife Shante Broadus.     The rapper, 52, appeared on Slink Johnson's Instagram Live show, Wake & Bake with Double S Express, where he shared the reason he turned down the lucrative offer.   'They were like, "OnlyFans wants you to come on there, Snoop. You could do about $100 million. Rapper Doja Cat’s mother,  Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer is seeking a restraining order against her son and wants her daughter to get protection from him as well. TMZ reports that Sawyer filed legal documents alleging 30-year-old Raman Dalithando Dlamini has abused his mother as well as Doja Cat, birth name Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini.  The outlet says Doja has allegedly “had her teeth knocked out by Raman” and gotten cuts and bruises from his physical abuse. He’s also accused of stealing and destroying property belonging to Doja, being "very degrading and demeaning” verbally, and leaving the 28-year-old "Paint the Town Red" artist feeling “unsafe and traumatized." Sawyer alleges she was physically abused and threatened by Dlamini "multiple times over the past year, claiming the most recent incident happened earlier this month,” per TMZ.  A judge has reportedly granted Sawyer court-ordered protection “pending a hearing for a permanent restraining order.”...

A two-year-old boy died of starvation curled up next to his father after the man suffered a fatal heart attack, his family has revealed.   Bronson Battersby was found dead on January 9, 2024, alongside his 60-year-old father, Kenneth, at their home in Skegness, Lincolnshire – 14 days after they were last seen.   Lincolnshire County Council has launched a review into the death of the toddler who was classed as vulnerable and subject to weekly checks by children’s services.   A social worker visited their home on January 2 but received no reply so contacted the police. Argentine football legend, Diego Maradona’s son, Diego Armando Maradona Junior, says he’s convinced his father did not die a natural death.   Diego Maradona passed away in November 2020 as a result of heart failure and pulmonary edema according to medical reports provided to his family.  Before his death, Maradona was recuperating from brain surgery at his home in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  But his son Maradona Junior says he knows the person responsible for the death of his father and will continue to fight for justice until the last day of his life. “There is an open investigation. We – his children – have a lot of faith in Argentine justice. I’m convinced that this should not have ended like this,” he told Mediaset. “They killed my father. It is not my job to say who did it, I have my own idea but I can’t say it. They left him to his fate when something could have been done. I made a promise: until the last day of my life, I’ll fight for justice.”
