Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Mathew Kukah has said that the killings in Plateau state are beyond herder-farmer clashes as murderers “want their own kind of Nigeria according to their ideology”.   Kukah who was commenting on the attack which claimed over 200 lives with hundreds of houses and farmlands burnt in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas of the Plateau State on Christmas eve, urged the federal government to resist the agenda of the marauders and protect Nigerians. Singer Paula Abdul has filed a lawsuit against one of "American Idol" executive producers, Nigel Lythgoe , alleging he sexually assaulted her multiple times while she was judging 'Idol' and “So You Think You Can Dance”.    Paula filed the lawsuit in L.A. County on Friday, December 29. She alleged that the first assault happened during "one of Idol's initial seasons" while they were on the road for regional auditions. Paula claims she and Lythgoe got into an elevator at their hotel, and once the doors closed he shoved her against the wall and grabbed her genitals and breasts, trying to tongue-kiss her.   She said she tried to push him away, and then ran to her room once the elevator doors opened. Prosecutors in the U.S state of Nevada have pushed back on rapper, Tupac's alleged killer Keefe D's request to be released on bail ahead of his trial.    Keefe D's lawyers had asked a judge last week to release him from custody on his own recognizance before his trial, which is currently set to start in June; and if the court wouldn't allow it, his bail should be set no higher than $100k.   Prosecutors however kicked against the request, saying it is absurd.
