  The alleged killer who stabbed a Catholic priest to death in a small Nebraska community has been identified.     Kierre L. Williams, 43, of Sioux County, Iowa, was arrested for killing Rev. Stephen Gutgsell, 65, during an invasion at the rectory of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, police said.      Williams was charged with homicide and use of a weapon to commit a felony, the Washington County Sheriff announced.      Gutgsell, 65, placed a call to 911 around 5am, in which he told police that someone was attempting to break into the rectory.      Cops found Gutgsell injured and an alleged attacker inside and it is unclear what William's motive was for killing Gutgsell.   Gutgsell was taken to an Omaha hospital, where he died from his stab injuries, church officials said.      The suspect was taken to Washington County Jail and the sheriff's office said that t...

A 50-year-old Greek woman was killed in her garden on Sunday, Dec. 10, when three shepherd dogs escaped from their yard and attacked her, police said.   The attack took place at around 2 p.m. in the village of Neochorouda, about 16 kilometers northwest of the northern city of Thessaloniki, Greece’s second largest.   The dogs had escaped through a hole in their owners’ fence about 80 meters (260 feet) away and ran to the woman’s garden, where she was working, police said.   A man, who police said is deaf-mute, was assisting the woman with the gardening but was far from her at the moment of attack and could not hear her screams.   Neighbors ran to assist the woman, who is a mother-of-two, and pried the dogs away from her, but she was severely mauled and bleeding profusely.   First responders who came to the scene shortly after with an ambulance confirmed her death, police said.   The 37-year-old dog owner was arrested and will face a prosecutor Mon...

Donald Trump has said he will not testify at his civil fraud trial in New York on Monday, calling the entire process 'complete and total election interference.'   The former US president posted on his Truth Social Media platform that there would be no sequel to his November 6 testimony.   'As everyone knows, I have very successfully and conclusively testified in this corrupt, Biden-directed, New York State Attorney General's rigged trial against me,' he wrote.   'World-renowned experts, highly-respected bank and insurance executives, real estate professionals, as well as others both honest and credible, have stated, clearly and unequivocally, that I and my very successful company did nothing wrong!'   Manchester United Football club of England will let Anthony Martial leave for free at the end of the season. The Frenchman is out of contract next summer, although the Red Devils do have the option of a one-year extension. However, The Athletic report that United does not intend to activate that clause in his deal, meaning Martial is set to leave as a free agent if he is not sold in January. The 28-year-old joined the club as a teenager in 2015, signing from Monaco for an initial £36million. He has scored 90 goals and provided 55 assists in 317 appearances for United in the eight years since. He also won five major trophies, including last season's Carabao Cup triumph. He has scored just once in 13 Premier League appearances.

A woman, Alec, has celebrated her 12-year-old goddaughter who was shot in the face by her father 11 years ago.  According to Alec, the man also killed the girl's mother.    “11 years ago, my babygirl was shot in the face by her father at 1 year old. She’s now 12 almost 13 dancing all over the country & the most beautiful girl ever,” she wrote in a post on Saturday, December 9, 2023.    

A popular photographer based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State who is best known as Wildshot, has died in a lone car accident in the Wimpe area of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State.     According to reports, the photographer was said to have rammed into a building while trying to overtake a trailer at about 9pm on Friday, December 8. The deceased who was an only child, was reportedly at a popular gymnastics centre in Port Harcourt when his mother in the Rumuola area called him to complain that some suspected cultists were shooting around her residence.   Late Wildshot was said to have abandoned his activities at the gym, hopped into his vehicle and rushed to the area in a bid to save his mother. Eyewitnesses claim late Wildshot who was on speed, tried to overtake a trailer but lost control of his car, rammed into a building and sustained serious injuries. The General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has revealed how he would like to die.    While speaking at his church's ongoing annual Holy Ghost Congress in Ogun State on Thursday, December 7, the 81-year-old clergyman said he wanted a death similar to one of his uncles.   “I know somebody will say if we are never sick, how are we going to die and go to heaven? You don’t need to be sick to go to heaven.   An uncle of mine woke up on a Thanksgiving Sunday, went to Church, danced like everybody else, came home and his wife gave him a light breakfast before preparing the original food which was pounded yam. She was already pounding the yam when my uncle decided to go to the toilet.   After she finished pounding, she knocked at the door of the toilet, when they opened the door, my uncle was gone; no sickness, no ache, no pain. If the Lord tarries His coming, I will go on a Sunday after a good meal of pounded yam.”
