Nollywood actor, Sylvester Madu, escaped death when gunmen stormed the location he was in and killed 4 people.   Madu moved to Bamenda, Cameroon, on November 23, 2023, to work on a film project.   On Saturday, Nov. 25, some unidentified gunmen entered the drinking spot where Madu was hanging out with a few others around 10 pm. They opened fire, killing 4 people and causing injuries to 10 others.   Confirming the incident in a statement released on Monday, Nov. 27, the film company that invited the actor, said: “DAMA Films received Nollywood actor Sylvester Madu on 23rd of November 2023, in Bamenda for a movie shoot advocating against hard drug addiction.''   “While concluding the movie, we received an invite for a guest appearance at BIG G VIP, located at Mile 3 Nkwen. Tiffany Haddish has vowed to 'get help' after her second DUI arrest, in less than two years.   Speaking about the latest incident, the stand-up comedian, 43, told Entertainment Tonight that 'this will never happen again.'  'I'm going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries,' she pledged.  The Girls Trip star revealed that she has been 'in good spirits' after her brush with the law, and according to the outlet, 'complimented the Beverly Hills Police Department for their professionalism and how they handled the situation.' The actress was placed in handcuffs in the early hours of Friday following her comedy show at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach on Thanksgiving. A Los Angeles apartment belonging to Chuck Lorre, the American TV producer behind "Two and a Half Men," “The Big Bang Theory,” and many other successful TV, has been hit by burglars.    Cops told TMZ that they responded to Chuck's home after his security alarm went off and upon arrival, they found broken glass, signaling the would-be burglar's attempts to enter the abode through a window or glass door.   Police scoped out the home and surrounding area and while they found no suspects, they found plenty of evidence of an attempted burglary, including a tampered fuse box.    Chuck wasn't home at the time and it is believed the sound of the alarm scared off the thieves. It was also gathered that a week and a half later, there was another alarm call to the same home. The house was also almost burgled in September.    LAPD took an attempted burglary report and is investigating and so far, no arrests have been made.

Diddy's former head of security, Roger Bonds, has reacted to the lawsuit filed by the music executive's ex-girlfriend.  Bonds who has been pictured with both Diddy and Cassie at different events dating back at least a decade, took to Instagram this weekend to speak out on Cassie's claims.    He wrote;    "This is not meant to be threats or snitching or anything like that against Cassie or Diddy or anyone else. this is me telling my truth as I truly remember it for 2 reasons only. Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd was on Friday, November 24, stabbed in a federal prison in Arizona and seriously injured.  The attack happened at the Federal Correctional Institution, Tucson, a medium-security prison that has been plagued by security lapses and staffing shortages. The person was not authorized to publicly discuss details of the attack and spoke to the AP on the condition of anonymity. The Bureau of Prisons confirmed that an incarcerated person was assaulted at FCI Tucson at around 12:30 p.m. local time Friday. In a statement, the agency said responding employees contained the incident and performed “life-saving measures” before the inmate, who it did not name, was taken to a hospital for further treatment and evaluation.    No employees were injured and the FBI was notified, the Bureau of Prisons said.
