  Sinead O'Connor's remains have reportedly been released to her family following a post-mortem examination to determine a cause of death, according to reports. The Irish Grammy-winning singer was found unresponsive by police at her home in south-east London last week, with her death at the age of 56 being treated as not suspicious. The Irish Times reported on Thursday that the clerk of the London Inner South Coroner's Court, John Thompson, has confirmed an 'autopsy was conducted to secure a medical cause of death'. The newspaper said a statement issued by Mr. Thompson on behalf of senior coroner Andrew Harris stated the post-mortem examination report may not be received 'for some weeks'.   An American mother of two has died after drinking roughly 64 ounces of water in just 20 minutes. Ashley Summers, 35, died from water toxicity shortly after spending a leisurely day at Lake Freeman over the long Fourth of July weekend.   On the last day of her trip, she felt lightheaded and had a headache, symptoms of dehydration, but no amount of water could satiate her thirst. She drank the equivalent of four 16oz (500ml) bottles, according to Mail Online. When Ms. Summers returned home, she collapsed in her garage, having suffered severe brain swelling. She never regained consciousness. At the hospital, doctors diagnosed her with water toxicity, also called hyponatremia, which develops as a result of there being too much water in the body and not enough sodium.   The military junta in the Niger Republic that carried out a coup that ousted the democratically elected President of the country, Mohamed Bazoum, has cut off ties with Nigeria and other countries.    This is coming after efforts of the Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS) to resolve the ongoing impasse failed.   Days after ECOWAS issued a seven-day ultimatum for the reinstatement of President Mohamed Bazoum to avoid a possible clash with the junta, President Bola Tinubu sent a high-powered delegation to the country to meet with the coup leaders, on Thursday, August 3.    The delegation led by General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd) could not meet with the leader of the junta.   Chelsea have completed the signing of defender Axel Disasi from Monaco for £40million. The French superstar has signed a six-year contract, with the Blues seeing off competition from Manchester United and Newcastle.   Controversial Social media influencer, Andrew Tate has won his appeal in a Romanian court to be released from house arrest pending trial.   The Bucharest Court of Appeals said in a written ruling on Friday, August 4 that it "replaces the house arrest measure with that of judicial control for a period of 60 days from 4 August until 2 October."  Tate was indicted in June along with his brother Tristan and two Romanian female suspects for human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women.   The Tate brothers are accused of tricking seven women into sexual exploitation on fake promises of a relationship or marriage - a technique authorities have labelled the "loverboy method".  It is alleged that the Tate brothers, along with the two Romanian female suspects, formed the group in 2021 to commit human trafficking in Romania and other countries - including the US and UK.   Former Arsenal star, Matteo Guendouzi had his house robbed while playing for Olympique Marseille against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday, August 2. According to French news outlet, La Provence, at around 10:30pm the midfielder's home in Cassis was broken into by burglars who smashed through his bedroom window. The report says that his partner was inside when the robbers entered the premises and managed to scare the intruders away but not before they stole his luxury Rolex which the paper claim is valued at £172,000.     Guendouzi joined the Ligue 1 outfit back in 2022 following a successful loan spell at the club that saw him re-locate from London to the south of France.
