  Banks have been directed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to vacate a post-no-debit restriction placed on the bank accounts of 440 individuals and companies.   This is coming two years after the apex bank i nstructed banks to freeze accounts of 18 companies, ranging from bureaux de change (BDCs), construction firms, investment companies, laundering services, and property companies.   The affected companies at the time include Bakori Mega Services, Ashambrakh General Enterprise, Namuduka Ventures Limited, Crosslinks Capital and Investment Limited, IGP Global Synergy Limited, Davedan Mille Investment Limited and Urban Laundry.   Others were Advanced Multi-Links Services Limited, Spray Resources, Al-Ishaq Global Resources Limited, Himark Intertrades, Charblecom Concept Limited, Wudatage Global Resources, Treynor Soft Ventures, Fyrstrym Global Concepts Limited, Samarize Global Nigeria Limited, and Zahraddeen Haruna Shahru.    Bamboo Systems Techno...

  The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) on Tuesday night, July 25, declared an indefinite nationwide strike.    The President of the association, Dr Orji Emeka Innocent, disclosed this during the National Executive Council of the association held in Lagos on Tuesday Emeka said the strike commences at 12 midnight on Tuesday.   According to Emeka, the major demands of the association are: Immediate payment of the 2023 Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF) , immediate release of the circular on one-for-one replacement , payment of skipping arrears and upward review of CONMESS in line with full salary restoration to the 2014 value of CONMESS.

  WWE star, Hulk Hogan has proposed to his girlfriend Sky Daily after dating for a year and half.    The pro wrestling icon told TMZ Sports that Sky Daily said “Yes” after he popped the question last week at a restaurant in Tampa, Florida.   The WWE Hall of Famer says his fiancée has three children of her own, and he fell in love with all of them.     Hogan and Sky, a yoga instructor, started dating early last year, shortly after his divorce from his second wife, Jennifer McDaniel , was finalized.   Hogan and Jennifer were married for over 10 years, tying the knot in 2010 after he split from his first wife, Linda Hogan .

  Bullet cartridges found at a Henderson, Nevada home have reportedly been sent for forensic testing in connection to Tupac Shakur’s unsolved murder.   Las Vegas Metro Police revealed in a warrant that detectives removed several .40-caliber bullets from Keefe's residence last week.   According to Radar Online, eleven .40 caliber bullet cartridges were recovered after LVMPD’s search on the Henderson, Nevada home last week. Additionally, the cartridges have been sent to a forensics lab to determine if they match those removed from Tupac Shakur’s body. “The bullets taken from the house will absolutely be tested by forensics experts.   A London court on Monday, July 24, ordered Bhadresh Gohil, ex-lawyer of former Governor of Delta state, James Ibori to pay around 28 million pounds (around $36 million) for helping him to hide funds gained illegally.   59-year-old Gohil was convicted in the UK in 2010 of money laundering, prejudicing a money laundering investigation, and conspiracy to defraud. He was sentenced to more than 10 years imprisonment. His co-defendant James Ibori, 61, a former governor of Delta State, admitted conspiracy to commit money laundering, conspiracy to defraud, and conspiracy to make false instruments in 2012. It was stated at the time that he used a sophisticated scheme to launder the proceeds of his crime, one that included his wife, sister, and lover.    The court ruled that Ibori used his position as governor to ‘steal millions to fund a lavish and luxurious lifestyle’ by buying properties in London, Washington DC, and Texas.   NBA superstar, LeBron James' son Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest while training at the University of Southern California (USC) on Monday, July 24. The son of the Lakers superstar was rushed to hospital after the incident happened during a USC workout, according to TMZ. Bronny, who recently committed to the Trojans, was taken by ambulance from USC's Galen Center, the venue where the school's basketball team plays and practices, after a 911 call reportedly was made at about 9.26 am on Monday. The 18-year-old combo guard has been preparing for his first season of college basketball with the University of Southern California. The incident is believed to have been a Code 3, which signifies the seriousness of the call as it requires ambulance lights and sirens.
