China's foreign affairs minister has seemingly disappeared from public view amid speculation that he has engaged in an affair with a well-known television presenter.   It was alleged that Qin Gang, known for his aggressive approach as one of the strong diplomats, may have fallen out with the communist state's leadership after only assuming the role in December. Qin was elevated through the ranks of China's Communist Party, spending time as ambassador to the UK and US. He made a name for himself through his aggressive approach towards meetings with Western officials. According to Mail Online, Qin has not been seen for several weeks now.   The sister of one of the Gilgo Beach victims has revealed how the killer tormented the family by using her mobile phone to call them to narrate how he raped and killed her.   The body of Melissa Barthelemy, who grew up in Buffalo, New York, was found on December 11, 2010, more than a year after she went missing.  Two days later, the bodies of three other young women were found nearby along remote stretches of coastline on New York's Long Island.       Manhattan architect,  Rex Heuermann, 59, has been charged with three murders including Barthelemy's after being arrested at his Long Island home on July 14.     The ordeal was terrifying for Barthelemy's family as the suspect used Barthelemy's own cellphone to taunt her relatives in 2009 with multiple calls soon after her disappearance - including one in which he admitted he'd killed her.   'He killed her; he raped her.   Harry Maguire has confirmed that he has been stripped of the Manchester United captaincy by the club's coach  Erik ten Hag. Maguire disclosed that he met the manager for talks over his future on Sunday and was informed that, as he is no longer a regular first-team starter, he would not be continuing as captain of the club. Bruno Fernandes, who stepped in to lead the team last season is expected to continue.   The England international took to Twitter on Sunday to confirm Erik ten Hag's decision, highlighting his regret while pledging his support for the next skipper.   Manchester United have reached an agreement with Inter Milan to sign goalkeeper Andre Onana.   The Cameroonian goalkeeper has also agreed personal terms and is expected to sign a five-year contract at Old Trafford with the option for another year.   Inter believes the fee for Onana will be around £43m including add-ons.   United are set to announce the deal today, July 17, and are trying to process Onana’s visa so he can travel with the rest of the squad on tour to the US on Wednesday.   The 27-year-old could make his debut against Arsenal in New Jersey on Saturday with United also facing Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund on the trip.   There are reports that once Onana is officially a United player, goalkeeper Dean Henderson will be granted permission to join Nottingham Forest in a permanent move.   Henderson spent last season on loan at Forest, and although he has been back at Carrington for the start of preseason training, he is expec...

  Russia on Monday July 17, said it had suspended a humanitarian corridor to deliver key Ukrainian grains to global markets, hours before the agreement’s expiry.   First agreed in July 2022, the U.N.-brokered Black Sea Grain Initiative has been repeatedly elongated in the past, but Russia says the deal has restrictions that limit the full dispatch of its own grain and fertilizer exports. The initiative was set up by the UN to stop a global food crisis, after Moscow launched a full-scale invasion of fellow key grain exporter and neighbour Ukraine.   It is set to end on Monday, July 17 at midnight, Istanbul time. “The Black Sea agreements ceased to be valid today. As the President of the Russian Federation said earlier, the deadline is July 17. Unfortunately, the part relating to Russia in this Black Sea agreement has not been implemented so far.
