Former NFL quarterback Ryan Mallett is dead at the age of 35.  The third-round pick in 2011 NFL Draft drowned in Florida and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Mallett was a star prospect out of Texas High in Texarkana where he was one of the top-ranked signal callers in his class. He went on to play at the collegiate level from 2007-10 for the Michigan Wolverines and Arkansas Razorbacks ... and finished seventh in the Heisman Trophy voting in 2010. He was the offensive MVP of the Liberty Bowl in 2010 and was named All-SEC second team in 2009 and 2010. The NFL star was also the 74th-overall pick to the New England Patriots in 2011, serving as a backup to Tom Brady for three seasons.

Bayern Munich forward, Sadio Mane has broken his silence on his clash with team-mate Leroy Sane last season. The former Liverpool winger, who was recently voted the most disappointing player in the Bundesliga last term, lashed out at his Bayern Munich team-mate, punching him in the face after a 3-0 defeat by Man City at the Etihad in April.   They had been seen arguing on the pitch following the Champions League quarter-final first-leg defeat and the confrontation continued. Sane was left with a bloodied lip and team-mates had to separate them in the tunnel.     Mane was subsequently fined £250,000 by the club,  the biggest in their history, and also given a one-game ban.   American rapper,Casanova has been sentenced to over 15 years in prison for racketeering and narcotics-related offenses. Casanova was on  Tuesday, June 27, sentenced by U.S. District Judge Philip M. Halpern to 188 months, or a little more than 15 years, in prison for racketeering and narcotics offenses for his role as a leader in the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods Gang, aka Gorilla Stone. Arsenal have submitted a massive £105million offer for West Ham captain Declan Rice after having two of their initial bids rejected. The Gunners' third offer comprises £100m guaranteed cash plus a further £5m in add-ons. The offer exceeds West Ham's £100m valuation for the England star and, if successful, would make Rice the biggest transfer between two British clubs, eclipsing Manchester City's £100m capture of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021. A US-based entrepreneur, Anita Brown, is claiming she is expecting a child with Nigerian singer, Davido.
