Jean Carroll, 79, says Trump sexually assaulted her in a New York department store and then defamed her after she went public with the allegations years later. Russia has threatened to scrap the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which enables the safe export of grain from Ukrainian ports onto the world market.   The threat comes as members of the G-7 group of rich nations are reportedly planning to totally ban exports to Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.  The G-7 countries are considering a near total ban on all exports to Russia, Japan's Kyodo news agency reported April 21, citing Japanese government sources.   “The G-7 countries have already stopped exporting a wide range of items to Russia, including products that can be used for military purposes and luxury goods.   Disgraced singer, R. Kelly has been transferred to a prison in North Carolina to serve his sentences prison sentence of more than 30 years. The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed Kelly,  whose full name is Robert Sylvester Kelly – was moved on Wednesday of last week from the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago to the Federal Correctional Institution in Butner, North Carolina.   The disgraced singer and Chicago native was sentenced in February to one additional year in prison for his Chicago conviction federal child pornography and child enticement charges, on top of the 30 years he's already serving for a separate conviction out of New York.   In September 2022, a federal jury in Chicago convicted Kelly of six counts accusing him of sexually abusing three women – who testified under the pseudonyms Jane, Pauline, and Nia – on video, while acquitting him of enticement charges involving two other accusers, Tracy and Brittany.   The same jury ...

Nine teenagers were shot early Sunday, April 23 at an after-prom party in Jasper, Texas, USA prompting an increased police presence at the town's high school this week, officials said.   Shortly after midnight on Sunday, deputies responded to a disturbance  with shots fired on County Road 263 north of Jasper, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. "Upon arrival, nine victims were found to have non-life-threatening injuries," the statement said. "The incident erupted at an after-prom party that was being held at the residence on County Road 263. Most victims were transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital, and some were transferred to Christus St. Elizabeth for further treatment."
