An official of Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement, TRACE, Corps, Popola Olasupo has been abducted by yet-to-be-identified persons. Olasupo was reportedly kidnapped at about 6.30 am on Sunday, April 16, around the Eledumare-Fidiwo axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in the Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.   The official was on his way to his duty post alongside one other member of the traffic corps when the gunmen emerged from the bush and opened fire on a commercial bus the official was travelling in.   He was the only one abducted.   Policemen and some vigilantes are currently on the trail of the suspected kidnappers.   The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident. He said the command’s anti-kidnapping squad was already after the kidnappers.

  Chrissy Teigen has shown her followers how much childbirth has changed her body. The parents of a 10-month-old boy have been found guilty of murdering him, 39 days after he was placed back into their care. Stephen Boden and partner Shannon Marsden killed Finley Boden on Christmas Day in 2020. Finley was found to have suffered 130 "appalling" injuries. His injuries included 57 breaks to his bones, 71 bruises and two burns on his left hand - one "from a hot, flat surface", the other probably "from a cigarette lighter flame".   A jury found the parents, from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, guilty of murder following a trial at Derby Crown Court on Friday, April 14.     They will be sentenced at a later date.   The court heard that the couple were responsible for the "savage and brutal" murder of their son after burning and beating him in repeated acts of violence.   Finley collapsed after suffering a cardiac arrest at the family's home in Holland Road, Old Whittington.   Paramedics were called there in the early hours of...

A Pennsylvania javelin coach has been charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy she coached, and told authorities she was romantically involved with. Hannah Marth was arrested after police learned she had engaged in a sexual relationship with the Northampton Area High School track and field teen athlete, prosecutors allege. Prosecutors say the 26-year-old coach sent the victim a text at 2 a.m. in May 2021 and invited him to her home, where the two allegedly had sex. The Northampton district attorney said in a news release that Marth was the javelin coach during that time while the student was an active member of the track and field program.   She confessed to authorities that she and the student were romantically involved in May 2021, prosecutors said. The victim told police he and Marth were in a relationship that lasted until last October, the district attorney’s office said. The naked body of a backyard dog breeder was found savaged with his ribs on display after he was brutally mauled to death by his own animals. Rikiana Hirawani, 33, was found dead at his home in Christchurch, New Zealand, on Tuesday, April 11. Armed  police raided the property and found his lifeless body surrounded by three large white dogs. One neighbour told Stuff: “You could see every rib.” The witness added that they shouted at the dogs to stay off the body until police arrived, although they kept going.   He said his neighbour did not treat the dogs well, instead breeding them as "moneymakers". Another witness described the scene as "pretty grim". A third said they were "shell-shocked". Police and animal control authorities eventually managed to remove the animals from the property. German football giants, Bayern Munich are considering making a move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer, according to Sky Sports Germany.   The Bundesliga champions are one of the European giants interested in luring the Nigeria international away from Napoli, and will now have to battle Manchester United and Chelsea for his signature.  Osimhen has scored 25 goals and recorded four assists in 29 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.   Bayern are said to be preparing an opening bid for Osimhen and are without an enigmatic forward after losing Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona last summer .  Also the report added that Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly interested in the 24-year-old. Osimhen alongside Erling Haaland, Robert Lewnadowski, Marcus Rashford and Kylian Mbappe is one of the hottest strikers in Europe this season.
