A Nigerian footballer in Spain has died after he collapsed on the pitch. Ado Hadi, 21, who plays for CD Madridejos in the Spanish Terceira division, collapsed and died during his side?s home match against SP Cabanillas on Sunday, February 5.  In a Castilla-La Mancha Football Federation statement, Hadi reportedly collapsed for no apparent reasons in the 39th minute of the ill-fated match. The medical team on the ground at the Municipal Toledo ground immediately came to his aide but efforts to revive him proved abortive as he was later pronounced dead minutes after. The Castilla-La Mancha Football Federation and Castilian-La Mancha football, with its President Pablo Burillo at the helm, are totally dismayed at such an event, the statement added. A powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit southern Turkey and northern Syria early Monday morning, February 6, destroying hundreds of buildings and killing at least 641 people as at press time.   Turkish officials say they believe hundreds were still trapped under rubble, and the toll is expected to rise as rescue workers searched mounds of wreckage in cities and towns across the area. On both sides of the Turkey-Syria border, residents were woken from sleep by the pre-dawn quake on a cold, rainy and snowy winter night. The quake, felt as far away as Cairo in Egypt, struck a region that has been shaped by more than a decade of civil war in Syria. Millions of Syrian refugees live in Turkey. The area of Syria affected by the quake is divided between government-held territory and the country's last opposition-held enclave, which is surrounded by Russian-backed government forces. Beyonce wore wore three jaw-dropping outfits at the Grammy Awards event on Sunday night, Feb. 5.   As she posed with her Grammy Award trophies, the singer wore a peachy cream velvet gown with a deep V-cut that exposed a metallic gold bustier underneath.  The gown included plenty of unconventional details, like the off-the-shoulder neckline that rose into a structured cone that encapsulated the singer, a thigh-high leg slit that revealed matching velvet leggings and wedge heels underneath, plus opera-length gloves.  She finished the look with a flat disc-like hat in gold, which nearly resembled her golden gramophone statuettes. Superstar footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo turned 38 on Sunday and he celebrated his big day with three birthday cakes. The Portuguese star posted a picture on Instagram of himself celebrating with family and friends, including his partner Georgina Rodriguez and his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. Ronaldo wrote on Instagram: 'Thank you everyone for all the birthday messages. Grateful to have spent the day with my family and friends.'   Ronaldo joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr following his acrimonious departure from Manchester United after he criticised the club during an interview with Piers Morgan, He became the highest-paid earner in sports following his move to Al-Nassr. Beyonce is now the decorated Grammy artist of all time, after picking up her 32nd trophy at this year's ceremony and breaking the 26-year record held by Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti.   Beyonce entered the night as the most awarded woman in Grammy history, and tied with producer Quincy Jones, who has 28 wins, for second-most overall trophies. Her fourth award for the night which was also her 32nd Grammy win, gave her the record for most Grammy victories.   The 41-year-old singer made history after winning the best dance/electronic music album category for her house music-sampling album Renaissance. The 2023 Grammy awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday night February 5, and had some of the biggest musical artists in the world in attendance. Beyonce has now won more Grammy Awards 32 than any other artist in history. She broke the record when her album "Renaissance" won the Grammy for best dance/electronic album.
