Boxing legend, Mike Tyson has been accused of raping a woman after the two met at an Albany nightclub in the early 1990s, according to the unidentified plaintiff's $5 million lawsuit filed earlier this month.     The woman claims Tyson raped her in a limousine, resulting in 'physical, psychological and emotional injury' in the years since then.   'I got in Tyson's limousine to pick up my friend from her house,' read the lawsuit, obtained by DailyMail.com. 'Tyson immediately started to touch me and attempted to kiss me. I told him no several times and asked him to stop, but he continued to attack me.   US Attorney General, Merrick Garland has pushed back on criticism that the US Justice Department is treating President Biden more favorably than former President Donald Trump as the government investigates their mishandling of classified documents.  Some Republicans have claimed that the Justice Department of is handling Biden’s classified document investigation with kid gloves compared to the federal probe into Trump’s retention of sensitive material from his White House days.   In August of 2022, over a hundred classified files were recovered by federal agents during an FBI raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.    In comparison, the DOJ decided against having FBI agents watch over an initial search for classified documents conducted by Biden’s lawyers at his Delaware homes — in part because the attorneys were deemed to be cooperating with the DOJ’s investigation, according to a Wall Street Journal report.    When the ...

Pope Francis has declared homosexuality a 'sin' but not a 'crime' while condemning the 'unjust' laws which criminalize gay people.   In an interview on Tuesday, the 86-year-old said God loves his children just as they are and called on bishops to support the laws to welcome LGBTQ people into the church.   He told the Associated Press: 'Being homosexual isn't a crime.'   He acknowledged Catholic bishops in some parts of the world support laws criminalising homosexuality or discriminate against the LGBTQ community and referred to the issue in terms of 'sin'. A lawyer for Mike Pence has discovered documents marked as classified at the former US vice president’s home last week and turned them over to the FBI, a top lawmaker said Tuesday, January 24.   Pence “reached out today about classified documents found at his home in Indiana,” Republican House oversight committee chairman James Comer said in a statement, adding that the potential 2024 presidential hopeful had agreed to “fully cooperate” with any congressional investigation.  It wasn’t immediately clear what information the documents contained or the level of sensitivity or classification they had been allocated. The United States and Germany are set to boost Ukraine's war effort with the delivery of heavy tanks, it has been revealed. The expected tank deliveries come as Ukraine sacked several senior officials as part of an anti-corruption drive, as the country aims to enter into the European Union.  According to reports by Reuters, the White House is expected to announce as soon as Wednesday that it will send the very powerful first generation tank- M1 Abrams and Germany has decided to dispatch Leopard 2 tanks. Germany and the United States have until now held back on providing heavy armour, wary of support that could give the Kremlin reason to widen the conflict.  The Kyiv government hailed the move,  calling it a possible gamechanger in a war that is now 11 months old. The son of the deceased politician disclosed this in a statement released this afternoon January 25.   The statement read;   “I regret to announce the death of my dear father, Prof Eleazar Uchenna Ikonne, who died at the National Hospital Abuja today January 2023 25, by 4 am after a brief illness. He was recovering after taking proper treatment in the United Kingdom but relapsed a few days ago leading to multiple cardiac arrests from which he didn’t recover from. Further details and arrangements would be made known to the public after deliberations and meetings are made within the family”.
