An 8-year-old boy who was kidnapped by his stepfather has been rescued by detectives in Kenya and reunited with his distraught mother.  The suspect, Nemwel Ondari, kidnapped the boy on Saturday morning, November 12, after a domestic disagreement with his wife, Everline Nandera.  The suspect was arrested following a report filed at Embakasi police station at around 9:30am, by the boy’s worried mother.  According to a statement issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations- DCI, the suspect demanded and threatened to kill the boy with a kitchen knife if the wife didn't act fast.     "Nandera told detectives that she had left their home in Embakasi’s Tel Aviv area at the crack of dawn, headed for Muthurwa market," the statement read.  But upon coming back at around 9:20am, she found her husband and son missing. Three children have been confirmed among 21 people killed after a bus fell into a canal in Egypt's Nile River Delta region on Saturday November 12, the country's Health Ministry said. Dr. Sherif Makeen, a health ministry official, said three children were among the dead. In a statement, the ministry said the accident happened in Dakahlia province, around 100 kilometers (62 miles) northeast of the capital of Cairo. Other injured passengers were transported to a local hospital. Although there is no official confirmation on the exact details of what caused the crash, the incident was said to have been linked to a steering wheel malfunction The head of police investigations in the province, Brig. Transgender influencer, Nikita Dragun was arrested on Monday night on a felony charge of battery on a police officer.  Cops said she was walking around naked at the pool in The Goodtime Hotel, before dousing officers and security guards with water. A police report obtained by TMZ showed security operatives responded to a report of someone causing a disturbance and being extremely disorderly at the hotel.   Police say when they got there, hotel security told officers Nikita had been causing a disturbance for a long period of time and walking around the pool area naked.   Nikita reportedly ignored demands to stop causing the disturbance and at one point intentionally threw water on hotel staffers.   Once officers arrived on scene, they say they went with security up to Nikita's room, where they heard loud music being played.   Nikita opened the door after several knocks, but when security explained to Nikita she needed to cut it out or she'd...

Former FIFA president, Sepp Blatter has admitted that it was a 'mistake' to hand the World Cup to Qatar because it is 'too small' to stage the huge tournament.    Qatar was awarded the competition back in 2010, but the decision was met with huge controversy after allegations the country had paid bribes in order to secure the right to host the tournament. Five Nigerian nationals have been arrested for possession of drugs in Pretoria, South Africa.    The suspects were arrested by Tshwane Metro Police Drug Unit members in Garsfontein on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.   The police in a statement on Wednesday, said the drugs found in their possession have an estimated street value of close to half a million Rand.    "The TMPD members responded to a tip-off on Tuesday 8 November 2022 about a white Suzuki swift vehicle that was delivering drugs at Atterbury road," the statement read.   "The officers traced the suspect to his residence at a complex, inside his unit they found 4 suspects busy packaging heroine (nyaope) and crystal meth.   "They were all arrested for dealing and possession of drugs. The drugs found has an estimated street value of close to half a million Rand. Well done team."   

WNBA star Brittney Griner has been moved to a Russian forced labour camp.   The basketball player, who was arrested in Russia for allegedly possessing cannabis oil, was sentenced to 9 years in a Russian jail and she appealed the sentence but it was denied by a Russian court last month. The White House released a statement early Wednesday morning, Nov. 9, condemning the move to transfer Griner to labour camp. "Every minute that Brittney Griner must endure wrongful detention in Russia is a minute too long," White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in the statement.
