Rupa Huq, a Labour MP has been suspended for making ‘racist comments’ about UK’s first black Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng.   Huq had claimed that Kwasi was “superficially black” at a party conference panel event titled “what’s next for Labour’s Agenda on Race?”   She said;    “Superficially (Mr Kwarteng) is a black man….if you hear him on the Today programme, you wouldn’t know he’s black.”   The MP shockingly went on to refer to former Chancellor Rishi Sunak as a "little brown guy". She also accused Nigerian-born Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch and Home Secretary Suella Braverman of having been "superficial" candidates in the Tory leadership contest this year.   Huq added;    "Ok, superficially they’ve had four brown Chancellors and that. Maroon 5's lead singer, Adam Levine and his pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo are presenting a united front after his cheating scandal made headlines. The couple were photographed hopping on a jet to Sin City together. They took a private jet from Santa Barbara to Las Vegas on Tuesday September 27, for an apparent couples getaway.   Adam and Behati didn't appear to be in turmoil over the cheating scandal which has seen five women come forward this month, claiming to have engaged in various stages of DM conversations with him, with one of them claiming to have been physical with him.      The singer has however denied all the allegations. Maroon 5 is starting a Las Vegas residency in March at Dolby Live in Park MGM, and in the interim, Adam's got a charity performance Saturday in Sin City to benefit Shaquille O'Neal's foundation.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been promoted to be the country's Prime Minister by his father King Salman.   Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince, known as MBS, has become the kingdom's prime minister, a royal decree said on Tuesday September 27.   Saudi King Salman ordered the cabinet reshuffle, giving his son the post which was traditionally held by the king.   MBS was previously serving as deputy prime minister under King Salman as well as defence minister.  He is now being replaced as defence minister by his younger brother, Khalid bin Salman, who was previously deputy defence minister.  Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman remained Saudi Arabia's energy minister under a new cabinet headed by the kingdom's crown prince and de facto ruler Prince Mohammed bin Salman.    The foreign minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the finance minister Mohammed al-Jadaanand and the investment minister Khalid al-Falih kept their positions in the n...

  Minnesota Timberwolves guard,  Anthony Edwards has apologized for his use of homophobic language in an Instagram video shared earlier this month during  NBA media day.    The guard took to social media to post the clip from his car, in which he zooms in on a group of shirtless men on the sidewalk.   Edwards can be heard saying in the clip; 'Look at these queer a** n****s, man. Look at the world I came to.'     In a 32-second clip shared by ESPN, the 21-year-old expressed remorse for his language in the now-deleted video.    'I respect everybody,' Edwards said. Apple chief executive, Tim Cook has complained about the low number of women in the tech industry. In an exclusive interview with the BBC,  Cook said technology "will not achieve nearly what it could achieve" without a more diverse workforce. Apple has just launched its founders' development programme for female founder, app creators in the UK and Cook says he wants to bring more women to the tech table. "I think the the essence of technology and its effect on humanity depends upon women being at the table," Mr Cook says. "Technology's a great thing that will accomplish many things, but unless you have diverse views at the table that are working on it, you don't wind up with great solutions." Patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian Orthodox Church claims Russian soldiers who die in the war against Ukraine will be cleansed of all their sins, days after President Vladimir Putin ordered the country's first mobilisation since World War Two.   Patriarch Kirill is a key Putin ally and backer of the invasion.
