Comedian Seyi Law has lost his mother.    Seyi who shared the sad news on Instagram, said his mother spoke with him and his family before her death.    He wrote;   MY DEAR MOTHER, MY DARLING QUEEN IS GONE. I saw a flash of light entered my room, I saw a full moon and then, my phone rang that my beloved Queen has ended her journey. I am grateful to you, my beautiful mother for speaking to my family yesterday before you removed this earthly body. You sang with Tifeoluwa, spoke with Tiwaloluwa and my wife and encouraged me. Thank for your good heart and kindness. I wish heaven waited, but God knows best. Please Dear God, let the funfair to welcome home my mother be as loud as the goodness and kindness of her heart. Another of Vladimir Putin’s senior cronies is dead after mysteriously "falling overboard" a boat.   39-year-old Ivan Pechorin, who is Putin's "point man" for developing Russia’s vast Arctic resources, is the ninth suspicious death from within the Kremlin’s inner circle of powerbrokers in the past several months.   Daily Russian tabloid, Komsomolskaya Pravda said he plunged overboard in waters close to Russky Island near Cape Ignatiev.   Pechorin was also responsible for the development of the air industry across the vast east of Russia – a sector also under pressure due to Western economic curbs.   His body was found after a search lasting more than a day.   The arctic development corporation said in a statement: "Ivan’s death is an irreparable loss for friends and colleagues, a great loss for the corporation.   "We offer our sincere condolences to the family and friends."   The firm’s former CEO Igor Nosov, 43, also died sud...

A notorious cultist and ex-convict has been arrested for robbery in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital.  The suspect identified as Oyinkumor Benson aka Bode, was arrested by the Bayelsa State Volunteers led by its chairman, Hon Oyinkuro Lucky Asanakpo.   The gang leader who just returned from a three year sojourn at Okaka correctional centre was alleged to have stolen laptops and phones from his victim a few days ago.    The young man who had been on the surveillance list of the agency was finally traced to the Amarata axis of Yenagoa over the weekend where he was arrested.    During interrogation, he confessed committing the crime and was promptly handed over to the conventional Police Force (the Operation Doo-Akpo) for further investigation.    In his reaction, Asanakpo on behalf of the security head of the state, Brigadier Gen. R&B singer Jesse Powell has passed away according to his sister, Tamara Powell via Instagram.   "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle Jesse Powell. He passed away peacefully in his Los Angeles home," the statement said.   "The family asks for privacy at this time as we mourn the tremendous loss and celebrate his everlasting legacy. Jesse loved music and he especially loved his fans who supported him throughout his career. We want you all to know that you meant the world to him."     At this time, there isn’t any information on the cause of death or the exact date of his death.   Jesse was 51.   Jesse was one of the artists who helped contemporary R&B get mainstream look in the 1990s.   He made his mark on R&B after signing with Silas/MCA in the mid 90’s and releasing his self-titled debut album. A 4-year-old girl was found dead on a school bus in Qatar, on Sunday, September 11, hours after she was supposed to be dropped off at her private kindergarten.    The deceased, Minsa Maryam Jacob fell asleep on the bus travelling to her school in the eastern city of Al Wakrah and the bus staff did not notice that she did not get off with her fellow students.   The bus was reportedly parked in the open during the heat of the day, which can soar to more than 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) at noon, without anyone realizing the child was missing.   In the afternoon, when the school staff entered the bus prior to the return trip, they saw the girl lying unconscious. A self-appointed Nigerian football coach who was found guilty of abusing his position by sexually assaulting seven teenage boys has been sentenced to 15 years in jail. 35-year-old Emmanuel Igwebuike was also given a lifelong sexual harm prevention order and will also be on the Sex Offenders Register for life.   The Inner London Crown Court sentenced him after the same court found him guilty in April of 22 counts of sexual assault following a five-week trial.   His victims who were aged between 14 and 18 years at the time the offences were committed between June 2019 and April 2021. The sexual assaults were said to have taken place at his former addresses in Lambeth and Putney, as well as at a hotel in Birmingham.   Several allegations naming Igwebuike were made to the police on June 15, 2021, 15 days before he was arrested by officers from the complex investigation team and the central specialist crime command.   According to ...
