A 4-year-old girl was found dead on a school bus in Qatar, on Sunday, September 11, hours after she was supposed to be dropped off at her private kindergarten.    The deceased, Minsa Maryam Jacob fell asleep on the bus travelling to her school in the eastern city of Al Wakrah and the bus staff did not notice that she did not get off with her fellow students.   The bus was reportedly parked in the open during the heat of the day, which can soar to more than 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) at noon, without anyone realizing the child was missing.   In the afternoon, when the school staff entered the bus prior to the return trip, they saw the girl lying unconscious. A self-appointed Nigerian football coach who was found guilty of abusing his position by sexually assaulting seven teenage boys has been sentenced to 15 years in jail. 35-year-old Emmanuel Igwebuike was also given a lifelong sexual harm prevention order and will also be on the Sex Offenders Register for life.   The Inner London Crown Court sentenced him after the same court found him guilty in April of 22 counts of sexual assault following a five-week trial.   His victims who were aged between 14 and 18 years at the time the offences were committed between June 2019 and April 2021. The sexual assaults were said to have taken place at his former addresses in Lambeth and Putney, as well as at a hotel in Birmingham.   Several allegations naming Igwebuike were made to the police on June 15, 2021, 15 days before he was arrested by officers from the complex investigation team and the central specialist crime command.   According to ...

Donald Trump will reportedly not be invited to the Queen's funeral next week.    According to Mail Online, the former US president is not expected to be among the mourners at next Monday's service with numbers limited due to one representative per country and their significant other.   Only current heads of state and their spouses or partners will be invited, meaning Joe and Jill Biden will be among those paying their respects in Westminster Abbey.   The Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) said the abbey will be so packed that it would be impossible to offer more invitations, according to documents seen by Politico.  The guidelines sent to embassies on Saturday night said the department 'regrets that, because of limited space at the state funeral service and associated events, no other members of the principal guest's family, staff or entourage may be admitted.'   Heads of state th...

New Chelsea manager, Graham Potter has vowed to build 'relationships, respect and trust' within the squad as he was officially unveiled today. A court has adjourned the case between the federal government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) till September 16.  Earlier, the Federal Government approached the National Industrial Court (NICN) sitting in Abuja, requesting an order for the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to resume while the issue that led to them embarking on a strike are being addressed.  Ruling on the case on Monday September 12, Justice Polycap Hamman adjourned the matter to enable both the Federal Government to file the necessary papers for the suit.
