The Taliban have revealed that three guests were shot dead at a wedding reception in eastern Afghanistan on Friday night, October 29 'because music was being played' The attack was carried out by three assailants who claimed to be members of the Taliban before opening fire, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told reporters at a press conference Sunday, October 31.     According to Mujahid, the gunmen attacked a reception taking place in the Surkh Rod district of Nangarhar Province. Local reports say at least two people had been killed and 10 others injured. One person has died after a cable car cabin became detached from its cable on Sunday, October 31 in Czech Republic. The victim is believed to be a staff member who was travelling in the cable car alone while others were rescued from another cabin, a rescue service spokesperson said.     The accident happened in Jested, the northern part of Czech Republic.   'One cabin fell while on its way down. There was one person inside, who unfortunately succumbed to their injuries,' spokesman Michael Georgiev told Czech Television. 'Fortunately, the other cabin stayed in its normal place, some 15 people were evacuated, they should be without injuries, just suffered mental shock,' he said.   Czech Television said the cable car was scheduled to close on Nov. 1 for scheduled maintenance, according to Reuters. A 26-year-old woman identified as Clara Jacob, has drowned in a hotel swimming pool in Jalingo, Taraba State.  An eyewitness who spoke to  The Sun  said that Clara and her friends were swimming at the hotel swimming pool on Saturday, October 30, when they noticed she was missing. "We were at the pool this evening swimming when we noticed that she was struggling in the deep end of the pool. We immediately called the pool manager that someone was drowning but he said he does not know how to swim. We were just there trying frantically to get someone who could help to no avail. US rapper Fetty Wap has been arrested and charged with participating in a conspiracy to smuggle large amounts of heroin, fentanyl and other drugs into the New York City region. The rapper, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, was arrested Thursday, October 28, at Citi Field, where the three-day Rolling Loud hip-hop music festival is taking place. He was charged on Friday, October 29. An indictment unsealed on Friday named Maxwell and five other defendants, including a New Jersey corrections officer. Michael J. Driscoll, a top official with the FBI's New York office, said in a statement: "The fact that we arrested a chart-topping rap artist and a corrections officer as part of the conspiracy illustrates just how vile the drug trade has become."  The indictment charges Maxwell and his co-defendants with conspiracy to possess and distribute more than 100 kilograms of heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine between June 2019 and June 2020. Khloe Kardashian and her 3-year-old daughter, True Thompson, have tested positive for Covid-19.  Khloe made this known on Twitter as she advised everyone to stay safe. She explained that she had to cancel several engagements because of the sickness and will be in quarantine, following the Covid-19 guidelines. She tweeted:    Hi guys I wanted to let you know True and I tested positive for Covid. I’ve had to cancel several commitments and I’m sorry I won’t be able to make those happen.
