The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has said that its newly introduced visa on arrival facility was to attract foreign investments to the country. Mr Abdullahi Dalhatu, the Controller of immigration in charge of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), made the disclosure on Friday October 88. He explained that the visa on arrival policy was meant to facilitate easy travels, especially urgent business trips as well as promote international trading activities. According to him, the facility covers African and non – African citizens, who are not members of the Economic Community of West African states (ECOWAS).   “VOA is a class of short visit visa issued at the point  of entry and the facility is readily available to the frequently travelled high net worth investor”, he told NAN in an interview. The French Football Association has released a shortlist consisting of 30 players nominated for 2021 edition of the Ballon d'Or. The award ceremony of the prestigious award was called off last year due to the impact of the Covid-19 but it is back this year. The International Crimes Division of the High Court (ICD) Uganda on Friday, October 8, sentenced a pastor to life imprisonment after he was convicted of six counts of aggravated trafficking in children and six counts of aggravated defilement. Mr Didas Mpagi, alias Bakulu, who was the headmaster of Real Infant Primary School in Wakiso District when he committed the offences between 2018 and 2019, was on Friday told by court that he would spend the rest of his natural life behind bars for sodomising at least 13 pupils.      Justice David Wangutusi said Mr Mpagi would serve his sentences concurrently.   Investigations into the case commenced when concerned residents tipped off the police. When the investigation ran its course, it was reportedly established that Mpagi was not only a headmaster at the school, but also a warden for the male pupils. A missing woman has been found buried inside a wall that was smoothed over with concrete. Joice Maria da Gloria Rodrigue, 25, a student who lived with her husband and two daughters in Sao Vicente, Brazil was reported missing on 27 September after visiting her grandfather. Her body was found on Tuesday, October 5, at a construction site after a builder noticed the smell of her decomposing body. Police found the naked body of Joice with a t-shirt around her neck after knocking a hole in the wall at the site. Police arrested two suspects, a bricklayer, 56, and a 35-year-old contractor, working on the building site.     Police said the contractor denied any wrongdoing, but the bricklayer confessed to killing the young woman and concealing her corpse, implicating his colleague in the crimes. A Senior Secondary School 3 (SS3) student in Abia State identified as Obinna Nwatu, has been arrested by the police for faking his kidnap to extort money from his mother, Mrs. Rose Nwatu. Abia Commissioner of Police, CP Janet Agbede told newsmen on Friday October 8 that the incident was reported to the police by Obinna's younger brother, Wisdom Nwatu.  Wisdom had said his brother was kidnapped along Stadium road, Okpuala Ngwa by unknown hoodlums operating with ash colour Sienna, with registration number unknown, when he went to buy recharge card.   After an investigation was conducted, the anti-kidnapping unit of the Command arrested one Chinaza Favour Ukaigwe whose bank account was used to receive a ransom of Two hundred thousand naira (N200,000) only.    This led to the arrest of Obinna who confessed to faking his kidnap, alleging that he did it because his mother is stingy.    Agbede said;    "Chinaza Favour Uka...
