A paedophile vicar has been jailed after his wife discovered child abuse images on his mobile phone and turned the evidence over to police. Gordon Newton from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England, was jailed after admitting to six counts of sexual assault of a child and three counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child. He also admitted three counts of making indecent images.     Newton's 40-year-old wife had discovered horrific images on a mobile phone and handed it over to police, which forced Newton to confess to the offences. Prosecutor Julian Jones heard how Newton searched for images of children between the ages of 2 and 16. Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez has landed a Netflix documentary about her life with the superstar footballer. The show, titled: 'I Am Georgina', details how the Spanish model went from being an au-pair in Bristol to become the love of the player’s life and mum to their three-year-old Alana Martina, as well as to the footballer’s other three kids.     Netflix Spain’s Director of Entertainment Alvaro Diaz said: “Georgina is totally honest and ­recognises in the documentary her life changed from having nothing to ­absolutely everything.” He said the programme has a strong aspirational component. “She was a normal young woman whose life changed dramatically one day. A woman who testified at R. Kelly's sex abuse trial on Friday September 3, claimed she reached a $200,000 settlement with the R&B singer after she contracted herpes. The woman, who identified herself as Kate, took to the stand to testify against the world-famous R&B singer at his sex abuse trial in Brooklyn.  Kate claimed she was 27 when she met Kelly in 2001, and contracted herpes from him after they slept together. She told the court Kelly was tight-lipped when she later accused him of giving her the sexually transmitted disease.  Kate said she settled with the singer in 2004, and that the herpes diagnosis 'greatly affected' her ability to enter future relationships.  Her personal physician has also testified, saying he treated the star for herpes for several years.   Kelly's lawyer Deveraux Cannick used his cross-examination to undercut earlier testimony that Kelly demanded that his girlfriends follow strict rules.   These rules ...

Neymar has faced criticism of being over weight and not being in the ideal shape by French media .     But Neymar played the full match on Thursday, September 2, as Brazil defeated Chile 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier.  Following French media suggestions that Neymar was out of shape after PSG's win over Reims last weekend, the player has now issued a response  Neymar posted on his Instagram story, saying of the Chile match: "Did we play well? No! Did we win? Yes!" He then addressed criticism of his weight, saying: "The shirt was size G (large), I'm at my weight. Former NFL wide receiver, David Patten, who won three Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots, has been killed in a motorcycle crash. He was 47. The crash occured in his hometown of Columbia, South Carolina, on Thursday,  Sept 2, according to Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford.  According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Nick Pye, a motorcycle driver -- identified by the coroner as Patten -- crossed the median, causing a crash involving two other cars. One of the cars' drivers was also taken to a hospital with undisclosed injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the highway patrol and the coroner. "I am heartbroken by the news of David's passing," Patriots owner Robert Kraft said in a statement. A bare-chested "shaman" wearing horns and face paint who became one of the most infamous faces of the US Capitol insurrection, has pleaded guilty to felony.  The Arizona man identified as Jacob Anthony Chansley was caught on camera shirtless, carrying a spear and sporting a horned fur hat during the violence. It became one of the images synonymous with the infamous day and he also became known as the "QAnon Shaman".  He pleaded guilty on Friday September 3, to obstructing a US congressional meeting and also admitted to "disorderly and disruptive conduct" when he obstructed congressional proceedings and threatened officials. Chansley who has been a subscriber to QAnon, the far-right conspiracy theory blamed for fueling the unrest, had told the court he had "mental vulnerabilities," although psychiatric professionals had certified Chansley was competent to stand trial before the case. A small fire broke out at Tottenham Hotspur's Stadium on Thursday morning, September 2, forcing the club to evacuate 300 people from inside the ground. According to reports, air compressor caught fire which led to the evacuation at around 10am, with the flames then put out by an electrician before two engines from the London Fire Brigade arrived on the scene.  No injuries were reported among the 300 people evacuated from the north London stadium by Tottenham Hotspur staff, who were following standard safety procedures. A statement from the London Fire Brigade read on Thursday: 'Firefighters were called to a fire at a football stadium on High Road in Tottenham this morning (Thursday). An air compressor was damaged by the fire.'     'Around 300 people were evacuated from the nine-storey building by on-site staff.
