    Olusegun Obasanjo, a former President of Nigeria has again written an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari about the current state of the nation Obasanjo urged Buhari’s government to come to terms with the level of insecurity, herdsmen crisis in the county and take decisive decision before it’s too late. The former President cited four calamities waiting to happen if Buhari’s government failed to act immediately. These include letting Nigeria fall into the hands of suspected criminals, reprisal attacks on Fulanis, attacks on other ethnic groups, as well as series of uprisings in sections of the country. He lamented that Boko Haram has continued to plague the country for over a decade, six years of which Buhari has been in power, adding that it was wrong to assume the war against insurgency was being won. Operatives of the Delta State Police Command codenamed Eagle-Net Special Squad, have intercepted 138 rounds of AK-47 live ammunitions, one AK-47 magazine, one Baretta pistol magazine and a knife concealed in a bag of rice. Acting spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, June 12, said the bag of rice containing the arms and ammunition was recovered from a commercial vehicle, a dark green Mazda 626 saloon car with Reg. No. UGH 722 AA along Ughelli-Porthacourt road on Friday. An Uber driver and two other traffickers have been arrested by the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, with different quantities of cocaine at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos.   Confirming his arrest, the spokesperson of the anti-drug agency, Femi Babafemi, said the Uber driver, Lawal Tunde Rasheed, was arrested at the SAHCO export shed of MMIA on Tuesday, June 8 when he brought a consignment from his client to a freight forwarder for export to Malabo in Equatorial Guinea. When the package was searched, 150grams of cocaine concealed inside two pieces of air freshener were discovered.   ''A follow-up operation the following day led to the arrest of Egbo Emmanuel Maduka, in his residence on Wednesday 9th June. The Delta State Police Command has foiled a robbery attack in Ovwian Aladja Division, Udu Local Government Area of the state. Acting spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, June 12, also said that eleven suspected cultists were arrested at Ogwashi-Uku in Aniocha South.  Edafe stated that a member of the three-gang armed robbery suspects was gunned down and a locally-made pistol and two cartridges were recovered from him.    According to him, police patrol team from Ovwian Aladja Division is on the trail of the fleeing two suspects who were allegedly robbing passers-by last Monday before police swooped on them.    "On the 7/6/2021 at about 2305hrs, acting one tip off that three armed men were at old Ekete road robbing passersby. A teacher who taught controversial sex education classes that included cartoon videos on masturbation for first graders at the prestigious Dalton School in New York has resigned. According to the New York Post, Justin Ang Fonte taught 'sex education' at Dalton, New York.   At Dalton, parents pay $55,000 per year as school fees, and they were not pleased to hear about their kids learning about sex education. Last fall, the parents learned that first-graders were being taught sex-education lessons that included cartoons showing little kids talking about "touching themselves" for pleasure.   She also reportedly taught a one-day workshop on "porn literacy" to juniors at Columbia Grammar & Prep School in May that angered parents. Danish player, Christian Eriksen is unlikely to play again after suffering a cardiac arrest at the Euro 2020 tournament during Saturday’s Group B clash between Denmark and Finland on Saturday evening, June 12.   A mystery bidder has paid a whopping $28m (£20m) for a seat on Amazon founder Jeff Bezos's first crewed spaceflight by his Blue Origin company to space.   The winning bid was made at an auction on Saturday, June 13, with Blue Origin tweeting that the winner's identity would be revealed in the coming weeks. The bidding process attracted bids from more than 140 countries.   The flight to Space which will occur on 20 July, will include Bezos' and his brother Mark alongside the unnamed space tourist.     After over a month of bidding, the top bid had stood at just under $5m - but once Saturday's online auction got under way that figure rose more than five times.
