Sergio Aguero will join Barcelona on a free transfer following his departure from Manchester City. The 32-year-old underwent a medical at Camp Nou on Monday before signing a two-year contract with the Blaugrana. Barca moved for Aguero after City’s decision to let the striker go at the end of his contract, bringing to an end his trophy-laden ten-year spell in Manchester. Aguero is set to link up with his international team-mate and close friend Messi at Camp Nou, and they will be expected to strike up a strong partnership as the Blaugrana aim to return to elite level on both domestic and European fronts.

Actress Rita Dominic has expressed her concerns about the current state of the nation. In a tweet posted today May 31, Rita said everyone is watching Nigeria slip into anarchy. Her tweet reads ''I am afraid that we are watching Nigeria slip into anarchy. It is surreal. Our elected officials need to work harder to douse the tension in the country. We need peace to reign. Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has written an open letter explaining why he decided to step down as the club's manager. Zidane has delivered three Champions League cups and two La Liga titles across two separate spells at Santiago Bernabeu, but decided to resign at the end of this season following the club's first trophyless campaign since 2009-10. Police in Butaleja District in eastern Uganda have arrested a 31-year-old teacher for allegedly eloping with his 16-year-old student. The suspect, identified as John Omondi, allegedly eloped with one of his students at Mabale Primary School in Butaleja Sub-county in January this year, before he got her pregnant. His arrest came after some parents reported the case to Butaleja Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Mr Stanley Bayole. The police spokesman for Bukedi South Region, Mr Moses Mugwe, who confirmed the incident on Sunday, May 30, said Omondi’s offence amounted to aggravated defilement. "We have arrested a teacher in a government-aided primary school on allegations of defiling, marrying and impregnating a pupil (names withheld because she’s a minor). Both the suspect and the victim were found staying together," Mr Mugwe said. An Indian police constable has been injured in an attack while he was arresting two Nigerian nationals based on a tip-off that they were drug peddlers.  Officials said the incident occurred at Major Deepak Tyagi Marg in the Janakpuri area of West Delhi, on Sunday morning, May 30. One of the accused Nigerians was arrested while his accomplice identified as Joseph managed to escape from the spot.  It was gathered that on Saturday, police were tipped off that one African would show up with heroin at Major Deepak Tyagi Marg, Janakpuri around 3 am to 4 am on Sunday.  A police team reached the spot. Around 3.45 am, the two Nigerians came on a scooter and were waiting for someone. A teenager, whose teacher had sex with him, told cops he is furious with his mother for exposing the illicit relationship.   Abby Dibbs, 35, of Cross Plains, is now facing serious charges after admitting she had sex with the 17-year-old at her home in Wisconsin, USA.   The now-former Portage High School teacher has been charged with two counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff.   Police said she has admitted to having sex with the boy twice, according to a criminal complaint.   Portage police said in a statement that the teacher was arrested for sexual assault of a child on Wednesday, May 26, after the Portage Community School District administration contacted police.   Dibbs has reportedly admitted the student came to her home on Friday and Saturday the weekend before, and they had sex twice.
