Pharaoh Okadigbo, the first son of former President of the Senate, Dr Chuba Okadigbo, has died in an accident.   The accident occurred on Saturday, May 22, in Abuja.     This comes three years after tragedy befell the family when Obiajulu Jideofor Okadigbo, one of Dr Chuba Okadigbo's sons, died in the United States of America from a cold-related ailment. Homegrown Manchester United star,  Marcus Rashford has refused to rule out making a move away from the club, noting that he admires Real Madrid and Barcelona. Rashford, 23, is a product of the famed academy system at Old Trafford and has taken in 270 appearances for his home-town club since bursting onto the scene as a promising teenager. Though he is tied to a contract through to 2023 he says the option of playing abroad in the future is something that appeals to him and he wouldn't mind if the right offer comes. Quizzed on whether he can see himself playing in another country, Rashford told The Guardian: "I would never say no." Asked to identify his ideal club, the England international added: "Other than United? I’m a big fan of Real Madrid and Barcelona, because they’ve always had great players and played attractive football.  "Everybody watches Real Madrid and Barcelona." Iraqi President Barham Salih has said that an estimated $150 billion of stolen oil money has been smuggled out of Iraq in corrupt deals since the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. The Sunday, May 23 statement came as the Iraqi President submitted a draft Corrupt Funds Recovery Act to the Iraqi Parliament which he hopes that if passed into law would seek to recover the misappropriated funds through the cooperation of other governments and in partnership with international bodies. "Of the close to a thousand billion dollars made from oil since 2003, an estimated $150 billion of stolen money has been smuggled out of Iraq," Salih said in a televised speech. "The draft law seeks to strengthen the powers of Iraqi nation in order to recover money stolen in corrupt deals, to hold corrupt people accountable and bring them to justice," according to Salih. The 2020 Billboard Music Awards took place on Sunday night, May 23, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with 500-600 attendees following all pandemic safety protocols.   The ceremony, which celebrates chart success was hosted by Nick Jonas.   Producer DJ Khaled opened the show with singer-songwriter H.E.R. and rap group Migos, performing their collaboration We Going Crazy.    Doja Cat and SZA were also among the early performers with their song Kiss Me More.   Canadian singer, The Weeknd led the way in nominations with 16 and won seven awards, including the top male artist. The singer also won the first award handed out on the live telecast, for top Hot 100 artist.   Drake, who holds the title for most Billboard Music Award wins of all time, received the Artist of the Decade Award.   Napoli coach, Gennaro Gattuso has been sacked by the club after they failed to qualify for Champions League following their fifth-place Serie A finish. Gattuso's side dropped out of the Champions League places on the final day of the season as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to mid-table Hellas Verona, while Juventus cruised to a 4-1 victory to leapfrog Napoli in the Serie A table.   The result means Napoli will be playing Europa League football next season.    Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed Gattuso’s departure on Twitter, as he posted: “Dear Rino, I am happy to have spent the last two seasons with you.   “Thanking you for the work done, I wish you success wherever you may go.   “I also send a hug to your wife and children. Celebrity couple, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra arrived in style at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, May 23.     The pair rocked stylish ensembles as they hit the red carpet at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.     Jonas, who hosted the event was pictured packing on the PDA with his wife as they looked at each other and couldn't keep their hands off one another while posing for photos.      For the event, the singer stepped out in an emerald green ensemble, with a green dress shirt over a black tank and a unique green coat. A veteran actor, Akin Lewis has encouraged filmmakers in the country to make movies that address contemporary societal ills. Lewis who spoke at the private screening of a social impact movie, The New Patriots, noted that such films sensitized people to happenings around them. He said, “There is the need for Nollywood to produce movies that address contemporaneous societal ills, and not only make movies that aim to simply entertain. Also, actors should give priority to playing roles that educate the populace about impactful issues in society.” Billed to start showing in cinemas in July, the executive producer of the movie, Dr Rotimi Adelola, noted that it would also be available on streaming platforms.
