Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, said Britain's Prince Philip would be "greatly missed" in a statement following the news of the death of Harry's grandfather on Friday. Set on a full-screen dark background, the message, which was posted on the front page of the couple's Archewell charity, simply reads: "In loving memory of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, 1921-2021. Thank you for your service... you will be greatly missed." The Sussexes stepped back from the royal family last year, giving up their royal titles and saying at the time that they wanted to be financially independent. The couple have largely kept a low profile and have relocated to Markle's hometown of Los Angeles. But last month they sparked a heated conversation about racism, the British tabloid press and the royal family following their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

  A pregnant woman has left internet users in shock after she showed off her six-month baby bump.  Ashleon had shared the shocking photos on twitter which just looked like a beautiful non-pregnant lady in a bikini. Many twitter users jumped on the post asking how this could even be possible as many admired her and made the photos go viral. She is due to give birth this month. She also said she didn't start showing until around 6 weeks ago.

Actress Nse Ikpe-Etim has responded after an insensitive follower asked her a question about her womb on Twitter. Nse had shared beautiful photos of herself in a navy blue jumpsuit and as Twitter users complemented the actress, one follower wrote: "Why did you sell out your womb... And why are you to being fruitful to souls... Pls you need to make yourself fruitful and replenish. A suspected drug trafficker intercepted by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos, has excreted a total of 113 wraps of cocaine weighing 1.750 kilogramme with a street value of N423 million. The Madrid, Spain bound drug trafficker, Okonkwo Chimezie Henry, was arrested on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, at about 8pm, while boarding a Turkish Airline flight number TK0626.     Spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, April 9, said the suspect was apprehended at screening 2 point and taken into custody by the NDLEA operatives at the Lagos airport. The Imo state government has accused a former governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha, of being the mastermind of the recent attacks on some state-owned facilities in Owerri, the state capital. Governor Nasir El-Rufai has said that even if his own son were to be kidnapped by suspected bandits, he will not pay any ransom for his release. The governor who has consistently kicked against negotiations with bandits terrorizing the nation, said this during a radio interview on Friday April 9. When asked if his administration is considering paying ransom to secure the release of the students abducted by bandits from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Kaduna, the governor responded; “I mean it and I will say it again here. Even if my son is kidnapped, I will rather pray for him to make heaven instead because I won’t pay any ransom” he said   According to him, his government is “absolutely not paying ransom” but considering other means to ensure the students are returned to their parents.

Hip Hop Icon, DMX has died at the age of 50. The American rapper, whose real name was Earl Simmons died after going into cardiac arrest earlier this month and being admitted to White Plains Hospital in New York City.
