Three brothers have been declared wanted alongside 13 others by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commissions Commission (EFCC) in Nigeria for various fraud related cases.  The brothers, Lasisi Ridwan Adeniyi, Lasisi Sodiq Fahm and Lasisi Wasiu Adeleke are wanted in a case of obtaining by false pretence.     According to EFCC, the trio are natives of Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun state, and their last known addresses are; No. 5 Tobiloba Lawal Street, Ocean Breeze Estate, Ologolo Lekki; No. 2 Omodayo Owutunga street, along Chevron Drive, Bakare Estate, Lekki; No. 10 Onileyun street, Bariga and No. 22 Olorunkemi, Bariga, all in Lagos State.   See details of others below. .

Ex-Super Eagles player, Ogenyi Onazi has signed for Lithuanian A Lyga champions Zalgiris over a month after he was sacked by Danish club SonderjyskE. The 28-year-old is set to continue his career in Lithuania, as he has joined his new club on a free transfer. Onazi has been a free agent since January 5.   His new club, Zalgiris won their eighth top-flight title last November. Zalgiris posted on Twitter on Friday; "Delighted to welcome former @OfficialSSLazio & @Trabzonspor_EN_ midfielder @OnaziOgenyi to Vilnius, capital of Lithuania" "He brings formidable international experience @ club level and having earned over 50 caps with @NGSuperEagles, whom he helped to win the African Nations Cup."  

Manchester City football club of England have denied making any offer to Lionel Messi, even though the Barcelona forward’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season. Messi is free to speak to non-Spanish clubs and has been linked with several clubs like City and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain. Reports emerged this week that City made a revised transfer offer for Messi but the club has now denied the reports.   City are one of the few clubs that could afford his salary and there have been reports that a deal could also see him play for other sides in the City Football Group - including New York City FC. We haven't made any offer for Messi. Either now or last summer and there are no plans to make any" a club official told Goal. Messi, turns 34 in June, and will wait until the end of the season to decide his future as whether to extend his contract at Barca, where he has spent his entire professional career.

  Gunmen suspected to be assassins have killed a 40-year-old man identified as Odion Ehiorobo Larry, in Benin City, Edo state  It was gathered that Ehiorobo was shot dead in front of his pregnant wife and children in his house located at Peanut Road along Sapele Road in Benin city about 2am on Thursday, February 18.  According to Standard Gazette crime correspondent, Festus Alenkhe, who visited the area, the gunmen scaled the fence into the compound and gained access into the apartment by forcing the door open. They went straight into his bedroom, dragged him to the lounge before shooting him in the head.     Ehiorobo was said to have pleaded with them with everything he had, including money and other belongings but they told him they came for his life. Nigerians have slammed Destiny Etiko for the choice of outfit she wore to visit Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello. The actress took to her Instagram account to share a photo of herself wearing a clinging jumpsuit while with Governor Yahaya Bello in his office. Followers accused her of dressing inappropriately for the occasion.     She had to block followers from posting comments on the post but that didn't deter them. They took to her other posts to leave comments criticising her.  

  Kim Kardashian has officially filed for divorce to end her marriage of six years to Kanye West. A representative for the reality star confirmed the new development to TMZ, saying the divorce is “amicable,” and that Kardashian is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s four kids, which West is “fine” with the joint custody arrangement. It was also reported that both Kim and Kanye are committed to co-parenting together. The report also said there is a prenup and that they have since reached a property settlement agreement. FIFA has released it's latest rankings for the month of February. Nigeria’s senior national team coached by Gernot Rohr begins 2021 as the 36th best football playing country in the world, dropping one spot according to rankings released by the world football governing body on Thursday, February 18. In the rankings Nigeria accrued a total of 1474 points to remain as the fifth-best team on the continent behind Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. The African Nations Championship (Chan) was taken into consideration in the rankings.  Morocco who won the championship, moved two places up, while runners-up Mali made climbes three places up.    Belgium top the world rankings with 1780 points. While France (2nd), Brazil (3rd) and England (4th) retain their respective rankings.
