  The daughter of legendary Afrobeat singer, Fela Anikalapo-Kuti, Yeni Anikalapo has taken to social media to lament over an important family photo that has been stolen. According to Yeni, the family photo was stolen by some unscrupulous people. She stated that she sees her family photo on social media always but the one who stole the photo has refused to return the photo to the rightful owners. “It saddens me that they now post them on social media without returning them to the rightful owners. They are our memories that I would have gladly shared or put in our museums but now denied that opportunity”.   Police have charged 32 men in West Yorkshire with more than 150 child sex offences against eight teenage girls.   Charges against the men - aged between 31 and 50 - include rape, trafficking, false imprisonment, threats to kill, making an indecent photo of a child, possession of extreme pornographic images, and supplying drugs. They are alleged to have committed offences against the girls aged 13 to 16, between 1999 and 2012.   The men are due appear at Kirklees Magistrates Court on December 11 and 14.   Those charged are: Asif Ali (50) of Batley charged with rape offences (x12), inciting sexual activity with a child (x2), supply class B drugs (X1), trafficking (X1), aiding and abetting rape (x1) assisting in the commission of an indictable offence (x1) making an indecent photo of a child (x2), possession of extreme pornographic images (x1).   France and Barcelona forward, Antoine Griezmann on Thursday, December 10, ended his business affiliation and endorsements with Mobile Phone giants, Huawei, saying there are “strong suspicions” that the Chinese owned company has contributed to the repression of the mostly Muslim minority Uighurs.   It comes after a report in the Washington Post earlier this week alleged that Huawei had tested software capable of sending automated alerts when surveillance cameras recognised members of the mainly Muslim minority Uighur group.  The facial recognition software is reportedly intended to detect Uighurs and report them directly to the chinese government.   A Lebanese judge has charged caretaker Prime Minister, Hassan Diab and three ex-ministers with criminal neglect over the huge explosion at Beirut's port that killed more than 200 people on August 4. Diab, as well as two former public works ministers and an ex-finance minister, were accused Thursday, December 10, of criminal neglect "that led to the death and harm of hundreds of people" in the blast according to Lebanon's state-owned National News Agency.   The indictment is the most high-profile indictments that have come about since an independent  investigation of the explosion began. The explosion destroyed much of Beirut's eastern coastal area, killing more than 204 people, injuring at least 6,500, and displacing around 300,000 from their homes.The explosion was believed to have been caused by the detonation of thousands of tons of ammonium nitrate, stored for years at the port of Lebanon's capital.   US First lady Melania Trump reportedly wants to leave the White House even as her husband, U.S. President Donald Trump refuses to concede to Joe Biden in the recently concluded presidential election. According to a report the Washington post, “She just wants to go home,” the tabloid quoted a source familiar with Melania’s mindset, adding that it might not “go over well” if the soon-to-be-former president announces his bid to clinch the White House again in 2024.   Tommy "Tiny" Lister, who appeared in the movies "Friday" and "The Fifth Element" and was also a professional wrestler, has died. He died Thursday, Dec 10, his manager Cindy Cowan confirmed. Cowan said he was found unresponsive in his apartment in Marina del Rey, California, after displaying symptoms of COVID-19 in recent days. He had been working on a film and had to cancel shooting after falling ill, Cowan said. She added: "He was a wonderful guy with a heart of gold. Everyone loved him. A real gentle giant. We’re all devastated."
