  Scarlett Johansson and her fiance Colin Jost tied the knot in a secret, intimate ceremony.   The 35-year-old Black Widow actress and the 38-year-old SNL star wed over the weekend after getting engaged in May 2019, it has been learned.   The news was shared on the Instagram account for Meals On Wheels America on Thursday October 29.   "We're thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and love ones," the note said.  

    A six-year-old girl has been raped and murdered in a sickening attack. Little Inathi Mhlahlo disappeared on her way to buy sweets and crisps from her local shop in Mdantsane, South Africa but her family became concerned when she failed to return with her devastated mum not even learning her little girl was missing until she returned from work on Monday evening. The girl's aunt, Paphama said the family "began to panic and did not know what to do". Friends and neighbors embarked on a frantic search, which was only amplified after the owner of the local shop said he had not seen the girl at all.   The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Thursday, October 29th announced a 24-man Super Eagles squad that will face Sierra Leone for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Sierra Leone.   The Joint security taskforce stationed along Ikot Abasi/Portharcourt Expressway  on Thursday, October 29, arrested three members of a syndicate, who specialized in vandalizing telecommunication masts in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of the state and its environs.   The three hoodlums were nabbed at Ikot Okot, a village along Ikot Abasi /Oruk Anam road after they knocked down a woman on top of a motorcycle while trying to escape to Port Harcourt.      It was gathered that the suspects earlier this year, allegedly vandalized the Airtel mast at Ikpetim village in Ikot Abasi and killed someone in the process.   Former Miss America Leanza Cornett, who was crowned in 1993, has died at age 49. Her death was announced by the Miss American Organization on social media. “We are devastated by this sudden loss in our Miss America family and we are deeply sorry for her family and close friends for their loss,” the statement read. “At the moment, we do not have any further information regarding a service for Leanza and we ask that you please respect her family during this difficult time.” “Hold on tight to those you love today. Time is certainly precious,” the organization added, with a sign-off of “With much love.” No cause of death was given for Cornett, who was born in Virginia and was raised in Florida. However, News 4 Jax in Jacksonville, Florida, reported that Cornett had suffered a head injury on Oct. 12, according to a Facebook page monitoring her status.

  The United Kingdom High Commission has announced the reopening of its visa application centres in Nigeria. Recall the Commission shut down its visa application centres in Victoria Island, Abuja and Lagos over #EndSARS protests against police brutality in the country On Thursday October 29, the UK High Commission in Nigeria announced the reopening of its visa application centres on its official handle in a statement titled: ‘Update on UK Visa Application Centres in Nigeria.’   The commission said: "Our TLS contact visa application centres are now open in Nigeria. Following the recent closures, we are working hard to process all outstanding applications.   “We thank you for your continued patience and understanding. Please note Thursday, October 29, is a public holiday in Nigeria and our Visa application centres will be closed,” the notice read in part.  

  Music Legend, Dr Prince Morroco Maduka, has died. He was 76 years old. The singer passed away on Thursday afternoon, October 29. He celebrated his 60th year as a singer this year. The chairman of the Anambra chapter, Performing Musician Association of Nigeria, Ikeme Mazeli, announced his passing in a statement released this evening   ''With heavy heart of sorrow...We the entire Anambra state PMAN announce the exit of a music  Legend, Dr Prince Morroco Maduka.....Ozonweluibe. He passed on this afternoon (Thursday, October 29th, 2020).
