                  A 16-year-old grade 10 learner, Alicia Mohlaloga was allegedly shot dead in South Africa by a police officer, who is also her neighbour. It was gathered that the incident happened in the early hours of Friday, October 2, at Seshego Zone 1 EXT in Polokwane, Limpopo.   It is alleged that she was shot for no reason and that the police officer was under the influence of alcohol.   A 17-year-old girl identified as Minette Fotsting is reported to have been raped to death by unknown men in Douala, Littoral region of Cameroon. It was gathered that the teenager fondly called Kitty, was found in critical condition beside a construction site in Logpom district not far from her family house in the early of Wednesday, September 30. She was rushed to a clinic in the Bepanda district of the 5th Arrondissenment in Douala for medical attention.   Harvey Weinstein has been charged with six more counts of sexual assault in California. The charges brought against the disgraced film producer, 68, involve two victims from incidents that allegedly happened more than a decade ago. It comes after Weinstein was convicted of r*pe in New York in February. Prosecutors have added six additional counts of sexual assault to the existing charges, which include rape and sexual battery. The new allegations against Weinstein claim he r*ped a woman at a hotel in Beverly Hills between September 2004 and 2005, prosecutors said. He is also accused of r*ping another woman on two separate occasions in November 2009 and November 2010 at a hotel in Beverly Hills.   Liverpool star Mane has tested positive for coronavirus.  The Reds winger is the second member of the squad to test positive for Covid-19, Sadio Mane will miss Liverpool’s trip to Aston Villa. The Senegal forward is in self-isolation after his positive test, with Jurgen Klopp’s plans affected once more by the growing spectre of coronavirus.     Actress Chacha Eke-Faani has announced the end of her marriage with her hubby, Austin Faani. The mum of three  took to her instagram page to post a video of herself explaining that her marriage has hit the rocks and she is ready to quit her marriage.   David ’Davido’ Adeleke, the record producer and owner of the DMW (Davido Music World) record label has signed Liya as the first female artiste of the group. The 30BG crooner had earlier announced that a major move to sign a female artiste was ongoing and speculations flew. Some fans on Twitter predicted that he was about to sign BBNaija finalist, Vee into DMW.   The Spanish capital Madrid will become the first European capital from Friday night to head back into lockdown because of the explosion in coronavirus cases. The lockdown affects some 4.8 million Madrid residents and they will be barred from leaving the area. Restaurants and bars in the Spanish capital and nine satellite towns will shut early and slash capacity by half in what has again become Europe’s worst infection hotspot. The new restrictions, to start at 10 pm (2000 GMT), are not as strict as the previous lockdown from March, when people were barred from leaving their homes.
