  Actor Yul Edochie has asked what Nigerians are celebrating as the country marks 60th independence day anniversary.  According to him, the truth is that Nigerians are suffering and have no cause to celebrate. Listing some of the problems plaguing the country at the moment, the actor tweeted ''I cannot wish anyone a happy independence when my people are not happy. What are we celebrating? Fuel price increase? Electricity tariff hike? Hardship? Bad roads? Killings everywhere? Jobless youths turned beggars? The list is endless. Speak the truth. Nigerians are suffering.''  

  Keeping Up With the Kardashians star,  Kris Jenne is being sued by a former bodyguard on allegations of sexual harassment.    Marc McWilliams, the 64-year-old reality star’s ex-protection officer, claims in documents obtained by  Us Weekly  that he was “subject to a pattern of unwanted and unwelcome sexual advances” while working for Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are grieving as their newborn son has died shortly after his birth. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday evening, September 30, Chrissy shared the heartbreaking news with fans.     The 34-year-old model, who was rushed to the hospital over the weekend after she started bleeding and had to undergo blood transfusions, explained that all that "wasn't enough".     Their third child, named Jack, was born but suffered complications and died.     Sharing photos of herself and John in the hospital with their newborn son, Chrissy wrote:   We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before.   A 15-year-old relative of slain 4-year-old South African girl, Sanelisiwe Mhlongo has been arrested in connection with her brutal murder. The body of Sanelisiwe was discovered with multiple stab wounds in a bush in KwaMashu, north of Durban last Friday.   Police spokesperson Brig Jay Naicker, who confirmed the arrest on Wednesday, September 30, said Saneliwe was allegedly left in the care of a relative while her mother was at work.   “When her mother returned home, she was informed that the little girl went missing and was nowhere to be found.” Brig Naiker said. Naicker said the child's battered body was found in bushes near her home in M Section. It is alleged that her body was wrapped in clothing items belonging to the suspect. “She had stab wounds to her body as well as a head injury.   Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Lagos to demand an end to bad governance in Nigeria on the occasion of its 60th Independence and at least 30 of those protesters have been arrested.   The demonstrators told newsmen that they were members of #RevolutionNow protesters.     Some members of the group, including the organizer, Omoyele Sowore, were arrested last year by the Federal Government for carrying out a similar protest.   During today's protest in Lagos, Nigerian security officers stormed the area and took at least 30 of them into custody.     Similar protests are also taking place in some other states in the country.     Reacting to the protest, Agba Jalingo “We are tired of Buhari and we want to tell the whole world that we are tired. Men of the Bayelsa State Vigilante Security Outfit have arrested a 27-year-old suspected serial thief and burglar, Godbless Philip for alleged phone snatching and other criminal activities. The suspect was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday, September 30, along Otiotio off yenezue-gene, Yenagoa, after intelligence information gathering from members of the public.     It was gathered that the suspect, an indigene of Ayama in Ogbia local government area, specialises on mobile phone theft, room burgling and other crimes and has been terrorizing innocent citizens who come out early to go about daily business along the kpansia-yenezuegene area of the state capital.   The Chairman of the Bayelsa State Vigilante Service, Hon.   American comedian/actor, Kevin Hart and his wife, Eniko Hart have welcomed their second child together. Eniko, 36, took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the arrival of their daughter, Kaori Mai Hart, who they welcomed on Tuesday, September 29.  She wrote in her caption: ' A little bit of heaven sent down to earth. welcome to the world baby girl. we couldn’t love you more. Kaori Mai Hart. 9.29.20.' For Kevin, the new addition is his fourth child as he already has a 2-year-old son with Eniko and shares daughter Heaven, 15, and son Hendrix, 12, with his ex-wife, Torrei Hart.
