  Two children, Mpho Makondo, 8, and Simphiwe Mncina, 6, were found dead on Saturday morning, September 19 after they went missing on Friday night in Orange Farm, south of Johannesburg. The community and families believe the children may have been victims of muthi killings though no body parts were missing.   The children were smudged with a black substance on their mouths and underneath their feet while a note, which their families did not see before it was taken by police as evidence, was left on Makondo’s body. Mpho and Simphiwe, who lived three houses from each other, were last seen walking home from a salon about 400 metres from their homes. The two children had accompanied Mpho’s aunt, Malehlohonolo Malatji, to the salon.   Former Super Eagles and Inter Milan striker, Obafemi Martins, has joined Chinese Super League side, Wuhan FC on a one-year deal. The 35-year-old joined Wuhan on a free transfer after his mouth watering contract with Shanghai Shenhua, that started in February, was terminated last week. Reports in China claim Shanghai was not happy with Obafemi's performances and had to let him go. Wuhan are currently fourth in the CSL Group B table with 16 points from 11 games. Wuhan face Chongqing Dangdai Lifan in their next game and Martins should have no problem being in the starting line up. His addition to the Chinese Super League side is expected to add quality and depth to the club’s attacking option.

  A woman suspected to have sent an envelope containing the poison ricin, which was addressed to the White House, has been arrested. Law enforcement officials told The Associated Press on Sunday, September 20, that she was arrested at the New York-Canada border. The letter had been intercepted last week before it reached the White House. The woman was taken into custody by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Peace Bridge border crossing near Buffalo and is expected to face federal charges, the officials said. Her name was not immediately released. The letter addressed to the White House appeared to have originated in Canada, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have said. It was intercepted at a government facility that screens mail addressed to the White House and President Donald Trump and a preliminary investigation indicated it tested positive for ricin, according to the officials who spoke on condition of anonymity since they were not authorised to dis...

Osagie Ize-Iyamu, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to him losing to Governor Godwin Obaseki of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), at the gubernatorial election which was held in Edo state on September 19.   The APC Governorship candidate in his tweet alleged that there were many irregularities during the election and that his supporters were 'prevented from voting.'   Ize-Iyamu revealed that he is studying the results along with other party members and will soon announce his next move.    He tweeted;    I thank and appreciate my supporters, who had to endure many evils including being prevented from voting, for their support and determination during the election. I assure you all that I am studying the results along with other party members and will announce my next move soon.  

  Actress Yvonne Nelson responded to a man who left a comment on her page asking her to go and get married as she is "getting old." The troll wrote ''YvonneNelson won't you marry you are getting old. Is this how being famous brings?'' The single mum saw the comment and schooled the troll on what her priorities are as a woman and what she counts as an achievement. Yvonne stated that for her marriage is not an achievement but rather real love, kids, an education and happiness are what she considers as achievement. Read their exchange below
